Originally I bought a lamp at Sally Beauty Supply, it was nearly the same price as this one, but only about 7 watts. It worked just fine, but it was really flimsy and I had to use it for much longer than the recommended 30 seconds for my polish. I returned it because I saw this one on Amazon, having good reviews and being 80 watts. Well once I opened this package i could immediately see the difference, the construction of it is overall much stronger and the LED lights feel warm against my skin. A lamp such as this one appears to be in the $80 and up range at my local brick and mortar stores, so this is not only a great lamp but also a great value. Some reviewers complained that their nails are still tacky after using the lamp but that is merely user error (in reviews for this LED lamp as well as other lamps), because these people are not completing the final step to gel manicures, which is the final swipe with alcohol-soaked cotton. That removes the residue and it's no longer tacky or hazy looking. I love this lamp. It's big enough for your entire hand and had LEDs inside the curved angles of the lid, so your thumbs can cure comfortably with your entire hand inside, instead of having awkward hand positions or doing thumbs separately.

Since I'm really new to the whole manicure thing, I really did my research and educated myself before purchasing a nail lamp ...it took me days of comparisons. I believe I made the best purchase in terms of price point, high enough wattage to cure gel properly and simplicity of use. Since most of these machines have same manufacturer, being simply stamped with different seller name on it, it quickly became confusing. So, I compared wattage (80), number of lights (42), number of favorible reviews and, most importantly, price. I used it for the first time yesterday and it worked as expected -- the gel polish cured in 30 seconds. After plugging it in, you select the amount of time you want to cure at. When you put your hand it, it begins counting and curing. Remove hand, light goes out automatically. No need to repress 30s button. Very pleased with simplicity of use. Having a handle on it was a plus, making it easy to transport. Glad I purchased. Checkout my first time Diy gel manicure.

I like that it cures all gels and the curing time is quick. What I don’t like is that the base just falls off sometimes. It’s extremely easy to pull apart. I don’t know if it’s because there is a tiny crack near one of the screws (arrived this way) and that is the reason for the base falling off by its self at times but I honestly don’t know. Either way it does it’s job and wasn’t a deal breaker so I decided to keep it.

I needed a new lamp at work and decided to give this a try! All the reviews was positives and I just wanna say the lamp is working great! Fast drying and still haven't seen any lifting or peeling from client 3 week gel manicure. This lamp works way better than the name brand gelish, opi, cnd. Its very light weight and could also be use for gel pedicure without any discomfort! Highly recommended for nail businesses! Will buy more later on!

This is a good beginners Gel drying lamp. It’s very easy to use. Comes with three different setting and one of them is to ease with the burning sensation. It is lightweight and easy to carry for a mobile nail salon.

Ive been doing regular nail spots for seven years. Gel and dip powders are the only polishes that stay on my nails. The last few years I’ve been doing dip powder but it’s so awful for nail beds. I decided to give them a rest and go back to gel. I decided to start doing it myself bc after 7 years I’ve seen it done a handful of times. This curing machine is fabulous!! Works great, good price and super light weight! I bought the Gelish starter pack(ph, base,top,nourish) and Gelish polish in red roses(Sally’s) and it worked beyond my expectations! Now to practice more..!

Don't buy this product! You shouldn't even have to give it a star. I bought it fairly recently and it worked for 4 minutes. I used it for a full set of gels. First time around I thought this product is Fantastic. Went to do a fill tonight. Which would have been my second time since purchased. I only got to finish 1 hand when the lamp just burnt out! unplugged it both from the outlet and the back of the lamp and NOTHING. Too bad. It wasn't bad for an led lamp. But clearly they need to work out the kinks. It is very light weight. Easy to clean. If it worked. Save the money.

I feel like this product has been really great with a lot of gel products I've been. Although I do feel that what outlet I use for this machine makes a difference. I don't think the machine itself is regulating the wattage at all. there have been occasions where using one product in my house I've burnt someone, then using the same product and same machine and same time in my work space of not burn someone. I am going to consider buying some type of accessory to maybe control the amount electrical wattage that comes into the machine. And if that doesn't do the trick I really don't know what I'm doing wrong
