Why does it say PRC on here but the actual product says made in China but the description says made in the USA? Why are there a bunch of misspellings?

Is this product fire rated?

I'm not sure if it's fire rated. We have one in each bedroom and one in the kitchen. We also have fire Extinguisher in the kitchen and garage. I rather have it and never use it vs need it and don't have it.
