Welding Helmet Auto Darkening: DEKORPO True Color Solar Powered Auto Darkening Welding Welder Mask Hood Helmets

I received this helmet, (USPS is terrible in my area, as they're lazy) later than I expected, but it wasn't the shipper's fault... This being said. Considering the price paid, it was a STEAL! The quality is exceptional. The head-band is very comfortable, functional, and easy to work even with a heavy welding gloved hand. As well as the self-tinting mechanism working as advertised. I would suggest that after it's received, that you pull off the clear shipping protection, (it inhibits the sensors from working properly) some people may forget to remove this film. There are three pin holes on either side of the the helmet to adjust the angle of the hood in the up/down position. Choose either one of these three positions to adjust the angle of the helmet when raised. With this being said, it functioned exceptionally well, without any disappointments what-so-ever in the unit I received. I was welding at 220 amps, and it functioned very well. I'm quiet pleased with this purchase, (it's a really handsome helmet, and the finish is extremely good). A really good bargain, with quality that exceeds its price point. Thank you kindly.

A lovely lightweight helmet that lets you see when not welding and immediately darkens when a flash is produced. It is adjustable both in physical fit and lightness/darkness adjustment, and while I don't do much welding, the solar works just fine. It is also an excellent price for what it does. I'm happy with it.

Great helmet. Great price. Yes im very new to welding. But this is a great helmet. The auto dark works fantastic. I charged it by keeping under my kitchen light for the day. Then i used it to fix some welds on my cars exhaust. I did NOT get any fading or flickering. Worked just like it should. I've only had it 1 day so can not comment on how it holds up yet! But i dont see any reason why it shouldn't. Comes with a replacement screen. Screens and auto dark pieces are pretty cheap for this helmet if you so need to replace them.

The helmet itself is great, dims down really well, very responsive and works great. The headband on the other end is TERRIBLE. Very cheap quality plastic. The size adjusting knob broke on me after just a couple of uses and it was not put under any stress or excessive force. There’s a gear or something that tighten up the strap which broke into pieces and now the helmet will not adjust and it’s stuck at the setting it was at when it broke. Love the helmet itself but the strap is just garbage. Dimming: 9/10 Quality 6/10 Strap: 2/10 Function: 6/10 Price: 7/10

Good bang for your $$$ Im a mechanic so i use it only a few times a week ... if i was a welder i would invest in a better mask Helmet is flimsy but the window is nice size and auto darkening work great for 50/60$
