Intex Rectangular Pool Cover for 103 in. x 69 in. or 120 in. x 72 in. Pools

I literally just received it and put it on in a matter of 10 minutes with water in the pool. I knocked it a star because I do not know how it will hold up yet. I'll update when I do. It is simple to put on the first time. Fits the top of the 10x6 H20 inflatable pool. UPDATE: a couple storms later, the cover doesn't really hold up. Once the sun warms the cover it's so flimsy it's useless. I have a beach ball and an inflatable to hold it up and the cover is too droopy. It kinda hugs the pool enough to keep it covered. But, after a storm, it's too hard to keep the collected rain water from falling into the pool when taking it.

After reading so many conflicting reviews, and looking at misleading pictures, I decided to go with the Intex pool cover. So happy I did. It is made of a sturdy, durable plastic & fits over the pool perfectly. I'm not sure why some photos show the rope under the corners of the pool and the cover loose and sagging. The rope was prestrung around the cover and the cover fits just as shown in this listing photo. One person can put the cover on, but much easier with 2 or more. It did take about a week for shipping & delivery, but worth the wait, as this is exactly what I need.

The cover came in the color indicated in the picture, unlike other reviewers comments. It's a non-transparent blue, however it does have the INDEX logo printed in the middle. We have the 120 x 72 inflatable pool also sold by Index. The cover fits perfectly. The eyelets for the string do seem cheap, but we haven't torn any yet. The string fits easily under the pool corners and we have no trouble with the cover flying off in wind. As with any cover, it will sag in the middle, especially if it rains and water accumulates on the top. We bought a cheap beach ball to leave in the pool under the cover so the rainwater just runs off instead of caving in. It keeps the bugs and leaves out and helps warm the water too. One person can take it on and off, but it would be easier with two people. The material feels like it could easily snag/tear/rip.

The cover I received is dark blue and you cannot see through it. The material seems thick and sturdy enough for its purpose. People that complain about the fit probably bought this for the smaller size pool. I have the 120" x 72" x 22" Intex pool, and this fits like a fitted sheet fits a mattress. If it seems loose or saggy, then make sure the pool is inflated completely and the drawstring is pulled snug and tied off. Some people complained about the drawstring being confusing. There are six built-in grommet holes in the cover, two on each of the long sides, and one on each of the short sides. Just put the cover on the pool then starting at one of the long side grommets, thread the drawstring through the hole and work your way around the pool, threading through each grommet. When you're done, you'll end up with the two ends of the drawstring on one of the long sides of the pool. Pull it tight, allowing the drawstring to go slightly under the corners of the pool and tie the ends together. We've had several severe thunderstorms since I've installed this, and it has held up perfectly.

I purchased this pool cover 2 years ago and it was just like the one in the photo and it did a great job. Our summers are very hot and after two years it needed to be replaced. I went to my previous orders and the photo looked the same, so I ordered it. The one they sent does not have the open strings on each corner to put under the pool to hold in place during wind and or rain storms. I have tied the one string it has as tight as I can, but often after a wind blows through, the cover slips into the pool. I really liked the first one I got, I wish this one was the same as the photo. I gave it three stars because it is thick and durable, and for the price, it will work ok.

Great item. Great price. Sorry I found a store with closeout sales for same item. I purchased same item at far less price. Wanted to return pool and cover to Amazon.com but realized I would be losing money because the return was not because of any error by vendor or Amazon.com. Thus I now have two pools and covers. Guess I can have an extra one or share one with my daughter or a friend. I planned to use the pool in my 21 Dap Spa Plan and put Healing/Soothing Sea Salts in the pool. First lay down a piece of tarp, pour clean sand around, put on some Tropical relaxation music and maybe a dvd of similar nature on the small portable dvd player and relax in a sea salts pool all by myself. At 64 this is way better than swimming in public pools where the kids pee in the water. Or some dirty lake water or similar. I told my daughter she can have the other pool if she wants it, but she was not to pee in the water. It is OK to laugh. I am serious about this. As much as I used to love to swim, I can no longer get around Clorox or chlorine in pools because of thyroid goiter. And much less desire to swim in water which is polluted. Thus sea salts and this size pool works great for me. Only I can not go diving down 12foot or more like I used to love to do in Olympic size pools or while collecting shells off the ocean shoreline. Maybe I am too old now anyway. Best be on the safe side these days. The cover is great, but I am not sure how long I would like the water sitting in the pool at any particular time of use. The pool and cover were typical price and Amazon.com shipped the items very fast and safely. I had read a lot of reviews and discounted some of the negative reviews about the securing cord installation, but the cord installation is actually pretty annoying and not very secure even after it is installed. So the tarp/cover has holes along the edges, 2 on each side - you thread the supplied cord through the holes and tie it off along the short side of the pool. Easy enough. But wait, the material along the edge is pretty, um flimsy and short, so despite the fact the holes are punched into the plastic material and doesn't have metal or plastic gromets for added strength, I took the time to install the cord. It took me 3 tries because I am an idiot and didn't realize that I had to go in and out and in and out and thread the cord walking around the cover once I have completely opened it up and put it on a large clean area of lawn to keep it from getting dirty - I had tried threading the cover while folded. Then I put the cover on the pool. Odd, it only had these little flaps of material left that was supposed to be secured with the cord and not actually hang down along each side and corner of the pool. Ok, so I dealt with that by trusting that the manufacturer knew what they were doing and that it would stay on the pool and once the cord was tightened, it did stay on the pool; however, putting the covere on and off is absolutely a two person job. Finally, After a month of use, there was a few days of rain and not much to my surprise, I saw that the cover had ripped due to the pressure from the rain that had collected on top of the pool cover. Now I am out the money for the pool cover that lasted about a month and is not good for much except non-biodegradable landfill insert. Actually, if it hadn't gotten so moldy from the rain, I could have used it as snow-covere for my car so I wouldn't have to clean snow off my car in the winter time. I am very unexcited about Intex pool products.

I got this for my kids pool in the summer and it fit so good and the price was amazing!

This pool cover is awesome! It covers my 10x6’ pool very well! It stays in place, you have a string to tighten it and just does the job it’s meant to do. I would definitely recommend this pool cover. Also with it covering so well, your water stays clean! Less changing water!

The pool cover is decent! I bought it to cover a pool with the same dimensions. It stays on most of the time but I do notice regardless how tight we tie it on, if it’s windy it blows the cover off. Otherwise it does its job! Quality of the material is good, and thick as well.

The actual manufacturing of it/ sewing was lob sided, it didn’t fit properly.. Also you have to put the rope through about 4 holes, and that pulls it all together 🥴 not enough material on one side, then way too much on the other 😕

I liked his easy it was to put in with just one person! Will help heat up the water and keep bugs out!
