Baked Eyeshadow Palette, 10-Shade Set, California

My husband bought this for me years ago from a retail store and I hadn't been able to find it. It has lasted years. I am happy to have a new one. I use it with a wet brush and love how it looks and stays. You can put it on lightly or a little darker, which is what I like. I searched and haven't found this same one in more colors but would buy it if they would make it! So cheap but so great (and I am picky).

I love this eye shadow compact. The colors are beautiful, the shadow goes on smoothly and lasts. I am very happy with this product.

With a proper primer on these colors pop. I love this palette and especially the golden tones. However, you absolutely need to have a primer on otherwise the colors are extremely faint and hardly show up. Other than that, this is golden.

I read the reviews and decided to purchase this product anyway and try it out myself. I really liked the colors in this palette and am also familiar with ELF so I figured it was worth the $9 experiment. The directions say to use a wet brush so I tried both wet and dry brush applications to primed skin. There was almost 0% payoff with the dry brushes which was a bummer but metallics are hard and this is an inexpensive palette so I get it. I then swatched each color with a tap-water wet brush (my atomized water or setting spray could not get the brush wet enough) and there was a VERY GOOD amount of payoff. Attached photos are wet brush application swatches (w/ & w/o flash). Palette packaging is a nice sturdy matte black case with a long rectangular mirror. Feels and looks very nice and more expensive than higher priced products. Product also stayed on for a few hours and came off with a wet washcloth (no remover). I might not keep this palette as the wet application is not something I’m interested in but for those who are up for the wet brush technique, this is an inexpensive product with pretty shades and decent payoff.

At first I was disappointed that these colors were so frosted but when I tried them they go on very light and don’t look over done at all. Very easy to blend and lots of colors to try. Good price also.

Total waste of money - hard pan shadows that won’t transfer to brush or finger so no color payoff at all. Colors all one note and look almost identical

I really love this. Can no longer purchase physicians formula naked eye shadow wet or dry, then I found this. This is equal or better than what I used to use. Double the colors too. I will buy this again.
