Samsung Original Wireless Fast Charging Pad for Qi Enabled Devices, Black

For a year now I have had a phone which is able to do wireless charging - the second phone capable of doing this. So far I have always thought, that I don't really need a wireless charger - I was wrong. What is it? It's the original Samsung Wireless Fast Charging Pad. Whats in the box? The pad, a quick start guide, and thats it. No cables, or anything to plug it in. But that's not really a problem, since it works with any USB C cable - like the one on your new Samsung (S8 - S9 - S10 and many more) How is it? It's brilliant. It is slim, doesn't take a lot of space and weighs almost nothing. Thanks to it's small size it is ultra portable, so if I want to take it with me to the office, on holiday or anywhere else, it's easy to do. The use is super simple - just plug it in and place your phone or device on top - soon you will have a full battery again. My battery is on 1% - how long do I need to charge? Mmm..prepare for "quite a long wait". Although it is a fast charger, it is not fast. If on a cable you will charge your S8 in about 90 minutes, with the pad it takes double the time. Worst thing, you can't really use the phone during that time either..at least you cant hold it. However it is an added comfort to just place the phone on a charging pad - downside is a longer wait. Who is it for? People who like to have little gimmicks and added convenience. I don't really see a huge advantage apart from the ease of use. It's slower to charge your phone and in comparison to just the cable, it will take more room in your bag. Would you still recommend it? Absolutely! If you are looking for a charger, this is the one to go with! It's classic Samsung styling and super easy to use. At the price it's as well a steal!

Higher quality than third party wireless chargers I bought for Samsung products, which caused battery issues. This due pad works well and very easy to use. Charging is so fast, can confirm its about 12w and about half the speed of the 25w wired charger that comes with the Note 10+. The fan makes a low volume noise, but not really an issue unless you are affected by noise when trying to sleep.

I bought this to compliment my S10+ and as I have had 2 older versions I thought it was time to upgrade my 2016 one. First thing to note is how small it is at 8cm wide and just 11.9mm thick, demolishing not only the 2016 version but also the 2018 one which although convertible it also had a big fan on the back. The other improvement I love is the minimised LED which is very small, situated right on the front, subtle but functional. The older version used to light up the room so I can happily recommend for this to be used on a bedside table. It is a "fast charge" charger and fully charged my phone in 2h 45mins which is a lot faster than the 2016 varient and matches the 2018 one for speed. Good: - Great simplistic design - Good charging times - Bargin price for an official Samsung product (£16.21 paid) - Non intrusive LED - Fast charging without a bulky fan on the back Bad: - No psu included in the box - Not as quick as a wired charger - Is not convertible to act as a stand Should you buy this? YES! Bottom line: If you are looking for a great reliable wireless charger for a great price then look no further. This is perfect for bedside tables and office desks.

Excellent bit of kit. Not as fast as cable, seems to have a few negative reviews for that, but that is people not understanding fast charging. I was never bothered by wireless charging until my other half damaged her phone through constant USB connection., made me realise this does have a use. Got mine free with my s10+, was impressed so bought a second. Charges my s10+ from fully dead in 2.5 hours or so. I tend to charge over night, so speed not an issue for me, but definitely easy to use and convenient. Just pop your phone on it. Definitely would recommend.

As the the owner of a OnePlus 8 Pro and a Galaxy Watch who travels frequently with work I wanted one wireless charger that would charge both devices. I bought countless wireless chargers from Amazon too try but none of them appeared to have a coil small enough for the watch. In the end I bit the bullet and bought this Samsung Charger as it specifically claims to be compatible with the Galaxy Watch. I can confirm it is and it charges both my watch and my phone perfectly. The phone charged at 10W which is perfect for overnight charging and much better for my phone battery than 30W wireless warp charge that the phone is capable of. One thing to note. The cooling fan only works with my watch, as does the green LED to indicate a fully charged condition. But the cooling fan is not required when charging a phone at 10W anyway. My OnePlus charges to 80% where it then maintains that charge state before charging to 100% in time for when I normally wake up. This is a OnePlus feature not a feature of the Samsung Charger.

Considering these are the official charging pad from Samsung they are pretty good value. I have one on my bedside table and one in the living room. I used to think wireless charging was a total gimmick and although it's not as fast as wired charging the convenience of not faffing around plugging in cables is quite nice, also handy if friends are over and they have a different connector on their phone like Apple. This is not designed for quick top-ups during the day but rather when you are finished with your device so ideal placement is in areas like a bedside table, place it at bedtime and when you wake up you are good to go, although it is fast wireless charge it takes twice as long as fast charge through a cable, if you need a quick boost you are better off removing the cable and plugging in for 30 mins, only mentioning as some low star reviews didn't seem to understand what the terminology means. You also need to make sure you use a suitable charging brick that supports faster charging otherwise it will go into slow wireless charging. It is worth noting if you want to have multiple pads in your house the box only contains the pad, you have to buy the lead and plug separately, not a problem if you only want to only use one pad as you can use your supplied Samsung fast charger and USB-C cable. You can purchase Samsung fast charge bricks relatively cheaply on Amazon as well. (Quite a few charging pads don't include adaptors)

This is a nice and small wireless charger. It is just the charging pad and required you to purchase a cable (USB type C) and wall plug separately (or already have these). It works fine as a wireless charger, however it NOT a fast wireless charger as it states on the charging pad itself. I have another fast wireless charger from Samsung and when I use my s20 ultra on it, it clearly says "fast wireless charging", however when using this charger pad it only says "wireless charging" and takes longer to fully charge (this is when used with official Samsung fast charging wall plug and USB cable which came with my phone). Still a decent charger but it is not a fast wireless charger as described. I originally bought this to replace my old fast wireless charger as this one is a lot thinner, but I guess I'll be sticking with the old one for now. My advice, if you want a slimline charging pad and aren't bothered about speed then this is a decent charger, however if you want a fast wireless charger then go for the fatter model.

I had my first dock/solo fast charger for my Galaxy S7 Edge it was it the S6? Either way I've always had Samsung products, they're rugged, aesthetically pleasing, well performing and my personal choice for many years, since the Samsung Galaxy S2. I got the "free" fast charge dock for my S9+, which worked fine for 18 months and just died. Seeing as is just gotten myself a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active and was getting lower and lower battery life from my Samsung Galaxy Active watch, where it started at 2 days and a few hours to 1 day and a couple of hours. Bad times. I decided to get the Duo charger so I can charge my phone and watch at the same time, now my Galaxy Watch is getting 2 days and 18 hours on 100% charge, better than new! The pad is responsive to your phone, even in a protective case and my watch just pops in with the magnets, both charge in no time at all, 2 hours from completely drained. (Always keep them topped up though) I love Samsung, I love their products, none have ever failed me. I feel sorry for Apple owners.
