Great combination lockbox, this one works well for senior apartment we were able to attach it to the door knocker as the door handle was not round. Local EMS recommend getting a lock box for emergencies, this one is the smallest that I was able to find while looking for a slim compact lockbox. I have had one outside in another location that has held up well the combination is easy to set. It has enough space to hold a few keys, I attempted to place a key card in about the size of a credit card, this did not work, and was not the reason for purchasing this lockbox. For the price and quality I don’t think you fill find something this compact and well made.

I purchased this as I am always changing my handbag and at times forget my house keys. I decided to purchase this as I have been so busy with so much going on in my life that I thought this was would be a great investment. This lockbox is very heavy and made well. I have two keys inside and it could hold more. I like that is able to use and easy to open the lockbox.

Not highly secure but good for holding spare yard, storage shed, and house bib lock keys. Do not use it for securing any lock or portal. You can also paint it to color match a fence or gate or wall to have it blend in more (cover up the number dial with painters' tape first). Easy to use, set up, and you can hang it anywhere the shackle can fit over.

I set this up for a FSBO at my home. I was hesitant at first, from the mixed reviews, but it was reasonably priced and looked like it had good capacity. I read the directions that came with it, followed them (not difficult), and set my combo. One of the reasons I chose this one was the ability to change combos; very important when using a lockbox. I will change frequently if needed. It was easy for the agent to use; I did mark the location of the pin (where you should look for the numbers) with a pink wax marker to make sure she was doing it right. Otherwise it would be confusing; it’s right on the side, and there’s a subtle raised black mark, but it’s subtle. Pink marker made it un-subtle, and it all went smoothly from there. She did say she had trouble locking it back, but I didn’t have any trouble when I tried. In my experience, realtors are careless about putting things back with any lockbox. I found this out with my agent’s box in another sale, when the viewing agents would forget to put the plate back securely, or would not spin the dials afterward, or wouldn’t even bother to lock the door on their way out. So, I don’t take her complaint seriously, especially after I did it myself with zero issues. It didn’t fit my key on a chain. I was surprised, since it says it has more capacity. I put the key onto a smaller keychain, and it worked; I think keys on chains are easier to grip and use, but if you want to leave bare keys, it should hold at least three. Try it. It’s got a decent return policy. That’s why I did, and I’m happy so far. It feels sturdy, and the dials are good. I don’t think it could stop a bolt-cutter, but for a normal, non-high-security purpose like house showings, it seems just right.

I’ve tried various types of this style of key safe as well as the larger wall mount or U-lock options and they are just not worth the price they typically go for. The amount of keys this holds, the quality metal construction and the ease of use makes this an absolute bargain at $15 CAD. Don’t bother with the Kidde product or even the top loading Master Lock mini safe with a thin cable instead of a thick metal u-shaped lock for securing to something. The fact this allows for 4 digit combos is also a plus. 3 digits just doesn’t provide enough potential combinations to make me feel ok with it’s security considering I’ve forgotten combos on a couple 3 digit boxes in the past and was able to get into both within just a day of tinkering. The extra digit raises the potential combos to tens of thousands. I highly recommend.
