I get clear sound and the 3 different people whom I’ve spoken with state they can hear me clearly. The black color that we choose is stunning and high polished, reminiscent of our childhood home phone. The weight is also spot on, the heft is perfect. It was a breeze connecting the headset to our iPhone 15 Pro. since there are no batteries we couldn’t be happier with the product for the price we paid. I can see the headset being used on a regular basis. The thing that has impressed me the most about this purchase is “Frank” from customer service who reached out and inquired about our experience with the headset. He advised that the company wanted to ensure we were not having any issues with the headset and if we were getting them resolved as soon as possible. Now you don’t see that much nowadays. I would buy again simply because they stand 10 toes down for their products.

I had originally purchased something else like this for less but it was so cheaply made, poor quality and horrible sound. So I decided to spend the extra money to get this one. I am so glad I did! It has the same weight as the old phones!! Thick quality plastic with shine and the weight that you remember! Even the cord itself is super high-quality. No joke. People say I sound is perfect. I am so happy with this purchase that I even bought another one as a gift! Highly recommend!!!

Such a brilliant idea! Anyone of a certain age will appreciate using this retro-cool handset which plugs into the mobile's charging port. It makes talking on a cell phone a much more enjoyable experience, as the handset is so much nicer to hold than a little rectangular slab. It allows you to keep the phone (and all the radiation it emits) away from your head. And it also means you don't have to use the speaker phone -- not only you, but probably anyone else in the room, too, will appreciate you being able to have a private conversation. This is an authentic handset (not one of those silly pretend, cheap plastic things), with the proper weight, look and feel of the real thing, and it comes in an array of great colors. I myself have one each in bright blue, white, and green, and they all look sensational. NOTE: This version works with Android phones, but there is a version of the handset for iPhones as well. I needed to purchase a separate Lightning to Headphone Jack adapter for my iPhone 14 (it was easy to find here). It's a terrific product, so why only three stars? Well, unfortunately, one of my handsets stopped working after about a year -- no sound coming in the earpiece or out of the mouthpiece. It just simply quit. But my other two handsets still work perfectly, and it's been a few years now. So I probably just got a dud, and hopefully that is highly unusual. And to be fair to the seller, I didn't get let them know about the issue, and give them the opportunity to replace the handset.

We've stopped using telephones at work and everybody talks to each other with Teams or Zoom even if they don't want video. Most people have decided to give up their desk phones for extra real estate, including me. But using Teams with headphones or ear buds for unplanned calls is awkward. You have to keep them nearby even if they're not plugged in all the time, then fumble with them when a call comes in. I didn't like it so I bought one of these. Now it sits next to my docking station, plugged in and waiting for a call. I just pick it up and answer on the screen. It's great! From a lifetime of experience I'm good for a long time holding it without much tsuris, and if I get tired I can just switch to buds. As it's still new, it's made for some fun conversations as people see it for the first time on a video call. There are cheaper versions of this idea on Amazon, but I went with this one based on reviews and features. This one doesn't have any buttons to break or not work, and the sound is really very good - especially for those listening to me from a microphone right in front of my mouth. The handset is nice and heavy in the hands, substantial but not too much. You could definitely use it as a club to good effect, LOL. Edit: The short turned out to be in the docking station, not the phone. No problems with this item.

My landline phone service was knocked out last night, so I finally decided to try this handset attachment on my cell phone, and it works PERFECTLY! It makes my cell phone feel just like I'm talking on my landline princess phone! I didn't need to use an Opis adapter with it as it plugged directly into the earphones port of my iPhone SE 1st generation. Just be sure if your phone is in a protective case, like an Otterbox or anything, that the plug is all the way in, otherwise it won't work.You may have to really push to get it all the way in properly. So, if you're an old-school landline devotee like me, but the ever increasing cost of owning the only landline phone in town is becoming too much for you, or your landline service is knocked out, this retro handset attachment will ease the pain, seriously. It is the perfect handset weight, too, it feels just like a real landline phone. This handset is well made, a good heavy weight, works great and is adorable.I bought the red one with the black curly cord. I LOVE it and wish I had tried it out when I first bought it, so I could have returned the unneeded adapter that I was advised to buy with it. And I wish someone had gifted it to me, because it would be lovely to thank someone for this very thoughtful attachment for my cell phone. If you hate talking on your cell phone because you prefer a landline handset, this IS the answer!!!

J'avais un petit doute quant à la qualité de ce combiné. J'avais tort !!! Bel objet. Le plastique est de qualité qui rappelle nos bons vieux combinés S63 d'antan. Il ne fait pas si vintage que çà...... Je l'utilise sur un Nokia Lumia 640 sans avoir eu besoin d'utiliser l'adaptateur fourni. Pas de souci, le son est nickel.

Funktionalität ist ein eher zweitrangiges Kriterium beim Kauf dieses Handyhörers, primär geht es wohl eher um Optik, Spaßfaktor und die Hoffnung, irgendwann einmal wieder einen massiven Telefonhörer in der Hand halten zu können. Optisch ist der Handyhörer ansprechend, auch wenn sich der Hersteller am unteren Hörerende in weißer Farbe verewigt hat. Man muss nicht viele Worte über die Funktionalität des Hörers verlieren: Einstecken, telefonieren. Das Gegenüber hört sich mit dem Hörer deutlich besser an als am Handy selbst (HTC Desire Z). Es gibt keinerlei Zusatzfunktionen, keinen Schnickschnack. Leicht enttäuscht war ich vom Gewicht, das ich mir deutlich höher vorgestellt hatte, nachdem das Gerät zumindest von der Optik her die alten Telefonhörer nachahmt. Des Rätsels Lösung fand sich unfreiwilligerweise auch im Hauptgrund für die Rücksendung zwecks Umtauschs: Die Sprechmuschel war leider angebrochen, so dass sich die Abdeckung immer wieder leicht löste und dabei das Innenleben freilegte. Keine aufwendige Technik, ein paar verklebte Kabel, das ist es auch schon. Angesichts der geringen Stärke des Kunststoffs und des geringen Gewichts bin ich nicht mehr hundertprozentig von diesem Produkt überzeugt, werde ihm aber nach erfolgtem Umtausch eine neuerliche Chance geben. Es ist in jedem Fall angenehmer, den Telefonhörer zwischen Schulter und Ohr einzuklemmen, wenn man sich Notizen macht, als ebendies mit dem sehr dünnen Handy zu tun oder sich einen Stöpsel in den Gehörgang zu friemeln. Über die Langlebigkeit des Produktes kann ich keine Angaben machen, allzu heftig sollte man aber im Frust den Hörer nicht auf den Tisch knallen. Was mit den alten Hörern kein Problem war, würde bei diesem Modell sicher zum Bruch führen. Nachtrag: Der Umtausch funktionierte ohne Probleme. Der Mailkontakt war sehr freundlich, nach erfolgter Rücksendung kam das Feedback, dass es sich um ein eigentlich unverkäufliches Warenmuster gehandelt hat, das es im Vorweihnachtstrubel unbeabsichtigt in den Verkauf schaffte. Tatsächlich ist die Verarbeitung beim nun ausgetauschten Exemplar sauber, der Hörer fühlt sich wertig an, die Kabelkontakte sitzen fest, das Herstellerlogo ist deutlich kleiner und dezenter, an der einfachen Bedienung hat sich nichts geändert, auch die Sprachqualität ist überzeugend. Als Wiedergutmachung für die entstandenen Umstände legte der Hersteller gleich ein zweites Exemplar in gelb bei, das ebenso gut verarbeitet ist wie die schwarze Version. Angesichts des jetzt einwandfreien Exemplars ändert sich meine Bewertung auf die volle Punktzahl, denn der optische, haptische und Spaß-Faktor sind nach wie vor ausschlaggebend für den Kauf gewesen, die Qualität stimmt auch, und die Kundenbetreuung ist ebenfalls vorbildlich. Empfehlenswert.
