This was a really good product. It was made very well and is very durable. The straps are not uncomfortable and are easy to use. This has truly help me in my athletics. The resistance was not too difficult it was just right.

I purchased this weighted vest for use during jogging. There are several vests on the market but this one stood out due to its design and price. This is a reasonably priced vest. I also thought 8 pounds was enough weight for me, a woman who's never used a weighted vest, to start with. I like that that vest has closures on both sides which helps with a secure fit. The crossed front is ideal for a female body, as weights squishing one's chest is undesirable. The cellphone holder is a mesh panel near the right closure. It is fairly useless, unless you have a very tiny phone. You could, however, use it for something else, like a key or ID, if you need to carry that stuff around. I have used the vest for a couple of weeks, jogging for 45 minutes to an hour each use. I find it very comfortable. The straps allow for as snug a fit as you'd like. They can tend to loosen as you jog. I tried tying them which didn't work. I found that leaving them loose and then simply tugging on one while jogging instantly tightens it up. Not a big issue. I have had no issue with leaking sand and the vest appears sturdy enough. The only downside to this vest is that there's no option to increase the weight but at this price point that is reasonable. This vest has been a great addition to my cardio workouts. It has contributed positively to my fitness and I hope to use it for some time before upgrading to a heavier vest.

It's amazing how 12 pounds doesn't seem like much, that is until you pick up the vest and put it on. I've used it for a few workouts and it definitely adds some resistance to my workouts. I haven't used it for running or biking yet, but I'm looking forward to using it to add that extra bit of resistance. The only negatives are that it does limit your mobility a bit, and the design is a bit flawed. I ended up reading other users' reviews before I purchased this vest and am in agreement with them that wearing the vest upside down is actually more comfortable for me. (Thanks guys!)

Great for weight training activities, but not comfortable wearing for more than twelve hours. Would only recommend wearing a maximum of six hours. Great for extensive workouts, just be sure to stretch upper back and shoulder muscles.

After looking for something to intensify my cardio and ground training exercises, I finally decided to go with this vest initially because of the price and the weight. After buying it I've continued to pat myself on the back for going with this vest because it has been more beneficial to my workouts that previously expected and seems rather durable. Im a 5'7" woman that weighs 140lb and this vest is adjustable enough to fit me snugly and then have my 5"11, 210lb boyfriend use it as well. The vinyl wipes clean easily and isn't terribly uncomfortable on bear skin. I recommend!

I wear this around the house and for workouts around the home and it is great! Adds an extra level of weight plus giving me the hands free ability to power thru lunges, squats, and just wearing it while I clean that makes me push myself harder.

This is a great vest. My 12 year old wears it at wrestling practice during pull ups, and he says it is very comfortable. He was thrilled with the camo print as well. This is really a great purchase and value!

I took the advice of someone else who purchased this and wear the vest upside-down. If I don't, the clip rides up under my neck and is uncomfortable. If I run with it on, the should straps slide off, but that's better than the clip rubbing my neck. It feels very well balanced, which is what I was looking for. Wish it came in something other than camo, but that's not a problem, just a personal preference. I've been pleased with this purchase. Four stars and not five? I think it'd work better with an additional clip around the waist so it would fit closer to the body all the way around. That proposed additional clip would probably keep the existing clip from riding up, too. Great product at a reasonable cost.
