It came with a surprise. There is a carrying case that comes with it that is worth at least $15 by itself. It's a really nice thick leather that is soft I don't know how they could sell all this for this price. The knife itself is beautiful I'm very impressed. To make this by hand is a lot of work people don't seem to appreciate how much work is done to make a knife like this. I have a small collection of about 200 knives and this is probably the least expensive but the most value I've ever got price wise. The file work on the back spring is beautiful and the wood is really nice for once it's solid wood not that plywood stuff. It has a bit of an unusual way of locking when its open, very secure lock, and it takes a bit of force to close it which means it's never going to close on you when you're working with it. There was only one tiny flaw in that the blade is not 100% centered which is not a big deal it's handmade. The belt case that comes with it is really nice quality I was very surprised. It was very sharp out of the box and just a few passes on a small sharpening steel and it was shaving Sharp. Well worth the money.

I was looking for this style of Every Day Carry knife but wanted something a little less thugish than I usually prefer. This is a well made, stylish knife that fits well in the hand and well in the pocket. Blade could be a bit sharper but I can fix that. Nice detail work in the handle. The bee is a nice touch. Would make an elegantly useful gift.

This is a good value for this knife, it isn't a super high end peoce like some others I own or others I have paid more for from this company, that being said, this is going to be my everyday knife I carry around in my pocket, it is smaller and fits much better for carrying around, if you want a regular sized, everyday, beautifu,l quality knife, just for regular general purpose, this is a good one for that, my blade was sharp on arrival, it is not a locking knife, has a good sheath this I never use them, very nice wood and a smooth inlay, very solid.

My understanding is that this particular laguiole style pocket knife is a knockoff. It is a good knockoff. The knife is pleasing to the eye and put together quite well. The knife comes with a nice leather pouch that can fit on your belt, if desired. Laguiole knife can be rather pricey but not this one....A Good Thing !

it is well made , looks big on the pics, but is actually small to fit in your pocket and belt. the leather sheath is also good and well made- discreetly fits in palm . keeping it sharp.

I wanted to love this knife but a flaw in the manufacturing causes the blade to contact the brass in the handle when closing it. The blade itself is great.

Very nice knives for the price. Good handle and sharp blades. I was able to figure out the locking system in first 5 minutes and tested with armor gloves to insure the blade stayed locked when using. This is a nicely made Knife and these three will be given as gifts to Cousins in the U.K.

Great for the price. From arms length, looks just like a real one. Under very close inspection, workmanship is much worse then a real one. Some small fitment issues, minor material defects, small procedural errors, but really quite impressive, considering the source and price. Would absolutely buy it again

Very nice sharp knife

Works as it should, not good craftsmanship. Plenty of gaps and generally not aesthetically made. But it is still a knife and will do the job.
