I make computer button boxes for driving sims and these are nice little switches! They are smaller than I initially thought, were easy to hook up and just worked without issue. They do look nice all lined up for flight sim stuff too! You really can't beat the price. 👍

Drill the correct size to mount. Put one in a small work light has been working fine. Great little switch if you need a small switch that is ST and low current get this guy .

When they're good, they're good, but... Common problems: 1) Physically stuck in one position (won't move) 2) High resistance when on (greater than 1 Ohm) 3) Plastic housing melts easily (causes total switch failure) A pre-use test solves these problems: mechanical and ohmmeter check before use. Even with that failure rate, and the incoming test, and fast soldering, the price/performance ratio is right. All these problems are solved by buying from Mouser, Digikey, etc. for 3-4 times the cost.

If you're looking for garbage e-waste, they've got you covered. They arrived in a basic plastic zipper bag and only 8 switches were included instead of the advertised 10. That alone tells you something about the quality control (or lack thereof). It gets worse. I soldered 28 AWG stranded copper wire using Sn60/Pb40 rosin core solder with a temperature controlled iron set to 325°C, which is completely normal for electronics work. As soon as I finished soldering and gave the wire a light tug, the brass terminal pulled straight out of the switch body. The plastic housing clearly cannot handle normal soldering temperatures and does not properly secure the terminals. I tried a second switch and had the exact same failure. These are cheaply made and not suitable for any project where reliability matters. If you need dependable mini toggle switches, look elsewhere. I'll be returning them. I sure miss the old radio shack!
