can you use these in conjunction with regular Knex?

So, I am confused. Can they be used or not with the regular knex sets? Thinking ahead. I know that they will be used for a long time; however, I would like to know if it is a toy that will be outgrown or if it will be an addition to the regular knex sets.

Does this set come with Patterns?

Yes, there is a booklet that comes with designs that children can follow to make many kinds of things (not just animals or cars for example.) Our grandkids from 2-11 love to make ferris wheels, flowers, spiders, cars & trucks etc. and can play for hours with K'Nex.

What is the difference between kid k'nex and regular knex?

The Kid K'nex pieces are bigger and chunkier than regular K'nex.
