Viair 10002 VIAIR Quarter Duty Onboard Air System

This thing rocks my socks off. Awesome product. I use it to seat the bead on scooter tires, which I remove and replace as a service to riders here in Colorado. It does motorcycle tires just fine, too. It will even air the tires up on my service van if I want to use it to the max. With the tank at 120psi, it will fill one van tire (225/70-15 or something like that) from 30psi to 40psi before it drops to 90psi and switches back on. The compressor has more than enough duty-cycle in it to do all 4 tires. I would consider this unit "barely adequate" for airing down and back up after hitting the trails with STOCK type tires. If you're rocking tires measured in inches, it's probably not powerful enough to air those back up after hitting the trail.. With stock-ish tire sizes though, it will do it, but you're better off with the medium or heavy duty kit IMO. For *my purposes* which consist of seating the bead on scooter and motorcycle tires, it's exactly what I wanted. It works well for blowing out carburetors, too. The only complaint I have is I did have to buy some things to make it work. If you install it *as configured* you'll end up with a black hose that blows air when you switch the compressor on. To be able to fit things to it, you'll have to buy a compression fitting and an air chuck. That's the only thing the "kit" is missing. Otherwise great kit, great product, totally worthy of 5 (or 6) stars for this review. Top work Viaiar! Buy with confidence, people!

Its better then mentioned. Hooked it up in my wife's jeep and it will fill the tank in 2 minutes or less. Its not rated for tires but it will fill 35/70/R17 from 16 PSI to 28 PSI in 1:30 and from 16 PSI to 38 PSI in 2:30, and since it has a duty cycle of 10 minutes it works perfect for tires. I run my tires at 16 PSI on the trails and fill them to 28 PSI for highway use. I can fill all of them after hitting the trails in 6 minutes. Thanks Viair for a great product, I will be buying a second one for my other jeep!

Pretty decent for what it is. Bought to add on board air to a 94 f700 medium duty truck. Supplied air to an air-ride seat, and an air horn. Good enough for both. Only thing is the drain valve broke the first day, cheap to replace so no complaints there. I'd recommend for any light duty needs.

Great little system for running an air horn. The compressor reaches max psi quickly. The air output supplies my triple trumpet train horn with all the air it needs to scare children and bad drivers. Great product!

I have no complain about installation,cause I'm a installer and I have done a lot of diferent air horn systems,my customer is very satisfied with the sound and loudness of it !!! Soon will get same one for my Santa Fe Sport

system works great. I had to add a larger air line to the system to get a louder blast but still a great working system. Installed a manual switch for the compressor just to control when it was activated. I recommend everyone do the same.

Using this to control my boost on a turbo 5th gen camaro . Running 30 psi and it holds great . Tank fills plenty fast.

Works decent fill my 31 inch tires from 28psi to 35psi in 2min per tire. Use it to fill my camping air mattress. It works great for my needs
