The starter arrived on time and is beautiful installed perfectly works like a dream the fastest starting starter my 7.3 1999 350SD. Even when it was new was it a better starter than this one but I would buy with confidence I've only had it in a few days but I feel it's a winner.

Absolutely beast of a starter. I would not hesitate to use db electrical again. My truck has never cranked this strong or started so fast. Replaced starter on a 1999 F250 with the 7.3 power stroke and other than the top bolt being a pain to remove and put back in due to its location all I can say is I highly recommend this replacement starter as it turns this motor super quick!! Great product and quick shipping!!

Starter went out at a gas station on my way to work last night. Someone pulled me with their corrolla and I popped it into first to get home. Ordered this thing and less than 12 hours this thing arrived at my door and we'll schools my 380k mile 7.3 starts faster than a brand new car. Pro tip you'll need a 17mm 15mm deep well and an 8mm. Top bolts kinda a pain I used an extension and swivel socket, but overall a 30 minute job.

This was an easy uninstall and replacement. Everything was in the same place as on my original. Amazing improvement on starting. I had gone through the usual checks....Alternator OK.....Batteries charged up....so the starter was the next place to go. I believe I was replacing my original since I have owned the truck since new and do not recall another replacement. So 250K miles and 19 years was a pretty good run for my original starter. NOTE: Several reviews indicate which socket sizes to have on hand. I found them to be in error. Did not write down which I ended up using for what. But not the sizes I had originally laid out. ALSO NOTE: to top mounting bolt id difficult to remove. I ended up using a couple of u joints and a couple of extensions and while I held the socket on, my son was able to turn the handle from inside the wheel well. Overall, I am pleased with the results.

starter works just fine. solenoid not exactly same as OEM, was a bit tough to connect small wire. all in all good value
