Coffee Grinder Electric, Spice, Herb, Grinder for Coffee Bean Spices and Seeds with 2 Removable Stainless Steel Bowls, Black

I bought this grinder specifically to grind dried wild yam for a lotion I make. Wild yam is extremely hard. I worked the larger pieces down manually in my mortar and pestle first and then put the small pebble sized pieces that were left in the grinder. It made a beautiful lush powder that’s going to blend nicely. I couldn’t be happier. There were cheaper grinders out there but I truly believe you get what you pay for and this grinder worked like a charm. I love that it has two cups and am looking forward to using the other cup for garlic and fresh herbs when cooking. It was easy to use and the cups go on and come off like a charm for clean up. Great find!

I purchased this to replace my Kaffe grinder, which started showing cracks in the lid from day one. After reading reviews, I settled on this one and I am so glad I did! I love that it comes with 2 different grinding cups for coffee and seeds and they are removable, making it super easy to clean. Next the cup size is twice as big as the one I previously owned so I can grind more coffee in a shorter period of time. It allows you to be in control of the consistency you want-- I prefer an espresso-like texture as opposed to a coarse grind, but it does it all. I'm hoping that this lives up to the hype and will last for many years. So far, it has been great and I love everything about it.

—- UPDATE —- The manufacturer has reached out and provided a full refund, so while the product might not work as expected, the manufacturer definitely backs up their customers. They now have an updated version which doesn’t have this problem. Thanks for the excellent customer service. —- END OF UPDATE —- For what is worth, it almost works, but is extremely frustrating to use. The first thing that immediately call your attention is how noisy it is. Y have a very basic proctor silex grinder at home, with no replaceable cups, and is very silent and almost never needs cleaning. But this one, not only screeches like a fighting cat, but also have two very frustrating issues: 1. When you release the cover after grinding, unlike any other grinder I've used, it keeps rotating at least for a second, and if you happen to remove the cover too fast, you'll make a huge mess all around 2. I think #1 is the reason why: With just with one use, the grinder gets coffee or whatever I was grinding, like flaxseed particles all around the grinder, even below the cup (See photos). So I have to clean it after every single use Inspecting it, I can see that the gears are made of hard plastic, which I'm sure they'll eventually break rather easily. A better quality rubberized plastic like many other grinders or blenders would have helped greatly to reduce noise. Also a better braking system would have allowed the grind motor to stop and not spread the whole thing around. Is been a frustrating month of grinding, and I hope I could return it, but I'll have to get a different one and scratch this one. Is simply not worth it.

We found it so simple to use and keep clean, too. We use it to grind coffee beans and so far it works perfectly!

I would have returned it but missed the window. That said, it works great and ground my bay leaves into powder in a pretty short time. Another update @ 11 months... Update 3.5 months later...not because of Shardor, but because of my slowness (they have great customer service...read on...) I wrote the above 3 star review based on the noise, more than a month after receiving the unit, even though it worked well. It was difficult to rate a product that worked well but was noisy. Anyway, they contacted me quickly and offered a replacement. I probably took another month getting back to them (a couple of deaths in the family had me doing everything slower than normal). They replied quickly but needed more information and it probably took me another month to respond. When I finally responded with the information, they promptly sent a replacement. I got it a few weeks ago and finally got a chance to try it out and it is sooooooo quiet and works great! I can't believe that they were so kind that after all of my delays, they still made the situation right. I will buy Shardor again anytime. 5 stars. Update @11 months: It's been a long time, I know, but I only use the grinder every couple of months to grind herbs and spices. But a month ago grinding my peppercorns for cooking, I noticed that some of the peppercorns were not getting touched at all, they were still full round peppercorns. I noticed this the first time I used it, but I think I was so excited to get the quiet replacement that I thought I must have done something wrong. But this time, I took a closer look and noticed that there was no uniformity in the peppercorns, from powder to whole, even after grinding for a minute or so. So, I examined the cup to see what the problem was, and it seemed to me that there were no bearings, the blade just flops around in the base housing. Nothing is visibly broken and the blade spins, but moves up and down and from side to side quite a bit. Since the customer service was so great, I contacted them again, and long story short, I sent them videos of the loose blade and they told me that's the way it's supposed to be, the blades flopping around. I don't know why they think that it's okay for one of the cups to have a floppy blade because the other cup doesn't have the same issue, the blade is securely attached to the cup. Go figure. I don't like to give them only one star because the first time their CS is very responsive, but this review is on the product. I'm going to have to spend more money on another brand. :-(

This is a BEAST! I use this to grind granola type cereals for a tube fed grandchild and I POWDERS everything. Nuts, the smallest seeds, grains…. The ample sized washable cup is a HUGE plus and was the selling point me. Great product, great price.

I love this product! It works so smoothly, and I love that the bowl that has the blade comes right out to wash. I would definitely recommend this product! I use it for coffee beans only. I tried it with onion or something once with the other chopping cup but must have held it down to long and turned it to mush.

Después de ver varios artículos similares y de leer muchas opiniones me decidí por este extraordinario molinillo. Me gustó especialmente por sus dos contenedores que se lavan fácilmente : uno para especies en seco como nueces, almendras, lino etc y el otro para húmedos como tomates, ajos, cebolla etc.. para mí algo muy importante, pues no me agradaba la idea de limpiar sólo con un pequeño cepillo y mezclar así los sabores. No es el de precio más accesible, pero ha sido tan útil que creo que vale cada peso. Lo recibí con anticipación y perfectamente empacado, gracias por eso al vendedor y a Amazon. Simplemente hice una excelente compra!

This is a good coffee grinder I've used it for a few years already. I use it to grind my dehydrated garlic peppers tomatoes. It awesome

The blender works very well but the lid is fragile and cracked. How can I get a replacement lid?

Having two cups/blade options, makes this a great purchase. One cup/blade for dry spices or coffee beans, and the other for wet ingredients like garlic ginger and tomato for masalas. Stainless steel cups means good longevity and wear.
