Surprised to see negative reviews. This tape is excellent. I ship heavy boxes, usually 30 to 70 pounds and no issues at all. Just as tough and sticky as the more expensive brands.

This tape is great. I have to use it all the time for my business. It's strong and thick enough for mailing. It sticks great, but it DOESN'T stick so strongly that when it gets stuck to itself, you can't undo it. That's huge! I love this stuff and I love that it's cheaper than what I was buying before and didn't like as much!

Exactly as described and a perfect purchase before my move. The tape is strong, clear, and holds up well on boxes without peeling or splitting. The thickness feels durable and reliable for heavy duty packing. Buying the 6-roll pack was a great decision, much better than buying one roll at a time and constantly worrying about running out of tape mid-pack. It saved time, hassle, and extra trips to the store. Great value, great quality, and I’d absolutely buy this again for any future moves or packing needs.

Ad and package claim this tape is 2.7 mils. It is NOT. It measures 0.0020" thick, including the adhesive. Other than that, it seems like OK tape. So it's the same thickness as the 3M Scotch tape. It is definitely stickier than the 3M tape, so that's another plus. It's also a lot less expensive than the 3M (about half, depending on discounts that day) and it's a full 60 yards (claimed - I did not measure it, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's short) versus 54.6 on the shrinkflated 3M brand. It's made in China. The 3M brand doesn't say where it's made, which generally means also made in China. I go through a couple rolls a month, so I've bought lots of the 3M tape. If the 3M was made in USA, I might prefer it over this one, but for half price, this will be my new go-to shipping tape. The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the false specs on the thickness.

This packing tape works great for shipping and moving boxes. The adhesive is very strong and holds boxes securely without peeling or lifting. I like that the rolls are thick (2.7 mil), which makes the tape durable and less likely to tear while using a dispenser. The clear finish looks clean on packages, and the 6-roll pack lasts a long time. Perfect for packing, storage, or mailing boxes. A solid value for anyone who ships often.

This is the best tape I've ever used. You will totally love it. I use it on my outdoor signs and it works wonderful in all kinds of weather. It's tough and reliable. I highly recommend it.

I was ordering some other office supply item, and this tape popped up. I had just finished a roll of the clear tape I use for my mailing, and, as usual, that roll was the wrestling match of it splitting and fussing and sticking to itself. The usual mess. I'd been ordering from a company that changed its source, and that fell through. So when I saw this pop up, and the reviews were good, and I saw that it was thicker, anti-splitting, which was driving me NUTS, and all the rest: What the heck. I'll try it for the trial cost of $15 for 6 rolls, which is about $2.50 a roll, cheaper than my other place for years. The thing is: Tape was wrecking my nails. I was being careful, but it's hard, because sooner or later, you gotta peel that stupid, splitting tape to get it moving. You have a package to ship! And that was destroying my nails, bad. Anyway - this tape came in fast. I mean, 2 days? And I immediately kicked a crappy roll off my very simple little tape roller thing (my son borrowed my tape gun to move; never saw it again....I gotta call him) and it fit perfectly. I got a box out and said ok, let's test this. And it was wonderful! Preliminary rolling was the best. Two days later, wrapping up a sale and it's just amazing. Thick tape, rolls well, sticks nicely, clear. No splitting, tears perfectly when you WANT it to. Just really GOOD tape. I'm so happy, I immediately went back and put this 6 roll pack on sub & save so I don't have to worry about running out. Doing the happy dance and my nails now just might stand a chance. :)

I have used the scotch brand packing tape for years. It is extremely thick, high quality tape and I have used other packing tape in the past that did not stick well, so I have been ponying up the extra money for the name brand. I recently expanded my online business and am shipping considerably more packages than I did in the past, so it was time to consider a more affordable option again. I am extremely pleased with this tape. It sticks better than the scotch. It is not as thick, but the thickness of the scotch was really not necessary or beneficial. It is much less expensive as well. Great choice for shipping packages.

This is strong, thick packing tape with good adhesion. It peels off the roll easily. I have used it to tape up multiple boxes heavy with books. The tape holds up well. The glue does not dry out, causing the tape to fall off, as you often see with cheaper stuff. High quality, reliable product.

Got 6 rolls and I’m really happy with them. The tape is strong, sticks well, and doesn’t peel off once applied. It’s clear, smooth to pull, and doesn’t tear unevenly, which makes packing much easier. Perfect for sealing boxes and shipping packages, and each roll lasts a long time. Great quality at a great price — truly value for money.

This works well! I wasn't sure how it was going to perform compared to other brands that I have used in the past, but it is nice. The tape is nice and thick, which is nice compared to other brands. It sticks on very well to any surface, and so far I have not experienced any residue being left behind. I'm sure if you leave it on long enough, residue might be left behind.

This tape is amazing. It helps me seal all my boxes. It's strong, good quality, and clear. I love it, but the only problem I have (and maybe I'm asking too much) is that it's brittle, like duct tape and stuff. When you put it outside, it will unstuck and break away. That's to be expected, I guess. I'm putting it under very extreme pressure, but for everyday use it's incredible. For this price, actually, I would give it four stars just because everyone's given their five stars and it didn't withstand some use that I had, but hopefully this helps people. I think you might need to buy a more expensive one if you have outside work
