I recently used these candles for a themed event space, and I was so impressed by the high quality and incredible overall look that I purchased a second set. If you're on the fence, don't be. Seriously, look no further because these are **seriously** the best-looking, most realistic set of faux flame candles you can buy. The flames are Luminara-style moving wicks, with the movement controlled by magnets. They refract light projected on it so the flames change, flicker, and look very organic and not "programmed" to a flicker pattern. It's about as realistic as fake candles can get, except unlike Luminara you're not paying $60 for one pillar candle. Instead, you get NINE real wax candles. In FIVE different heights. So when you array then around they look like they are real candles in different naturalistic stages of burning down, instead of the same prop copy-pasted over and over. Everything about it screams quality and going the extra mile, especially for an Amazon purchase. The candles are well-packed in styrofoam (which great because real wax is easy to damage) and the packaging can be reused for storage. They include TWO remotes, even though you only need one, and also include several extra battery covers too (just in case you lose one?).

I purchased two sets (9 candles each) last Fall. Just purchased another set today. Use them daily at night when reading or watching videos on my iPad. Have to laugh that I only just noticed that they have a ‘candle’ mode (flickering inside the candle wall) and a ‘light’ mode (just the flame moves). I have been using the light mode and love it, but will have to experiment. Including a video of each. Also note that the gradient from the top of candle is less abrupt than in photos - nicer in person! They sit on a small table and are cheerful, giving off a light even warmer than my Luminara candles of similar ivory shade. I do not use them together with Luminara ivory as the colors are off. Keep them in separate rooms. Even Luminara ivory tones differ between their wick-to-flame (paler) and the regular ones. However, love all the 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️! They all have a cozy home here! One note: as battery life wears down have noticed they become dim (not on purpose). Not noting this with Luminara? Will have to pay more attention, but thinking that Luminara are either fully functioning or not, regarding battery life. General note: for all types of these flameless candles I have had times when they would not light and appeared to be broken. 100% of the time I was able to get them to work after GENTLY pulling at the metal coil, (or sometimes both coils) at the point of battery contact (with both batteries removed). This has been such a relief when felt hobbled with non-functional candles. Note that this has happened with the premium brand and this one. One thing that some reviewers have stated is true: these candles have a less premium feel to the touch, and the latch mechanism is less crisp. Do not let that stop you for the price, as from a distance they are great. Setting them a bit above eye level helps with the illusion. (Luminara / LightLi wick-to-flame is most realistic, so much so that one of mine was lit with a lighter, and now bears the scars😱😂..)

Excellent product! I love these candles so much, I ordered a second set. I chose these candles specifically because the "flame" piece actually moves back and forth, creating a realistic dancing flame appearance. This alone makes these candles worth the money. The candles themselves are made from wax (so they will dent/create marks, if dropped or scratched) which also makes these look so real! I love that you can control the brightness and also set a timer via the remote. I have these set to turn on every night, which creates such a nice ambiance in my living and dining rooms. On the highest brightness, they give off a decent amount of light and we were lucky enough have these when we recently had a power outage! If you're on the fence, buy them! You won't be disappointed.

These candles are gorgeous! I wanted something that flickered realistically and these fit the bill. I have them set to turn on automatically for four hours every evening. They've been going for three months now and I haven't had to change the batteries yet. The only possible negative I can think of is the moving piece makes small random clacking noises. But it's quiet enough that it doesn't bother me.

We have been delighted with this set of candles. They came packaged very well and with a clear instruction booklet. I had planned to use the candles on a wide window sill for Christmas, but the instructions indicated that their wax exterior should not be exposed to lots of direct sunlight. No worries. They look beautiful in so many places in the home. I used them as a centerpiece for a brunch and received so many comments about how realistic the flame looked. The dimming features allows you to brighten or dim the light. The set comes with 2 remotes, so you can make two sets out of the 9 candles and use them in different areas. Our son bought a set to use in his fireplace and also purchased the wider 3" pillar ones that match from the same company. The combination of these 2" candles and the wider 3" candles from the other set make a stunning array. I was impressed that I encountered no problems with the candles. No problems with the remote, the flickering flame, or the led light. The price of this set is sooooo much less expensive than comparable sets at those bed/bath stores. Very pleased with this purchase. I would highly recommend.

Love the white pillar candles that I'm using for the Christmas holidays. They have a flickering flame that makes them appear real.

I have purchased 3 sets now. It's candle overload at my place. They really look real. They immediately soften the look of a room. The flame flickers which gives it that real candle look. It does make a quiet click sound as the plastic flame flickers. I don't notice it.

It's plastic. They have lied about it being wax pillar flameless candle. And they are not taking a refund. They did exchange with exact same product. If you are looking at cheap plastic Led go for it.

When lit they are very realistic and the timer feature is great and easy to use. Getting 9 candles made for real value.

So pretty and realistic. One of the candles the flame doesn’t move like the others and the light is a bit off centred. But happy with customer support. I got a replacement. I’d just check your candles right away in case one doesn’t work.

I ordered these candles along with candles from a few different brands in order to get a comparison in terms of what would be the best for a wedding. We were attempting to get 25 sets of 3 so we weighed things such as price, quantity and quality. In terms of quality these are the best. They have a wax texture which in my opinion makes them feel real, and the flickering and moving "flame" makes them almost appear real in video. There is a good variety of size in this pack. The wax can of course see some wear and tear compared to other brands as you could press your nail into them in comparison to the other waterproof brands but ultimately I think the pros outweigh the cons on this brand and I will be buying 9 more sets. The price is approximately $100 more to get this many sets than some other brands but in my opinion this is worth it and a lot less than real candles. I bought a large pack of amazon batteries to go with them. They take AA.
