This jar opener works well. I have severe RA and my hands are very affected. I am able to open most jars with this, when I cannot, people without my issues will struggle to to open the jar, so I feel vindicated. Adjusts for a variety of sizes.

I love this. I am 70 years old and can't open most jars anymore. There isn't always someone that can help me. I've had one for many years and it's been the best. I don't remember a jar I couldn't open with this. I recently went to stay with a sister for a month and she and I both struggled to get jars open. She bought a couple things at stores and neither one worked so I got on my phone and ordered this from Amazon for her. She is delighted. Then I went to spend time with a good friend and she couldn't get her jars open! Well, I gave her one, too. Seriously...why aren't these in every grocery store in America? They're great.

I bought this one to augment another of near identical design. I put the old one in the bathroom to use for opening vitamin jars and nasal spray bottles. I like this new one a bit better than the old one and I use it in the kitchen for opening water bottles and various sized other jars. It completely meets my needs and makes my arthritic hands a non factor in the process. Personally I couldn't live without it.

I bought this as a gift because I have one myself and it's my favorite tool in the kitchen. I felt the cost of this was high but the shipping was extremely expensive.

This jar opener is a basic jar opener that works, so there is no reason to look for anything else buy this product from Amazon why run to a retail store where you can have a delivered the next day

I purchased this because it was in the package & very similar to one I bought at a garage sale years ago. It was advertised as Stainless Steel. When it came it was not stainless steel but chrome. I called Amazon & they said they would refund 10%. I stupidly took the refund. We are snowbirds & I put it in the box for Florida! This week I tried to open 2 different size jars... It just slipped off the top of them and would not open them...one jar was Ragu and the other was a different size pickle jar. This does not work like my old Garage Sale cheap one back up North!!. When we go home in the Spring I will take it and try to figure out the difference. Sorry I purchased this one!

Get one of these if you’re having trouble opening ALL TYPES of jars and bottles....even nail polish! I’m 70+ years and can now easily open everything....no need to run item under hot water or hurt my hands trying to open things. However, a product called “Jar Key” works best opening vacuum sealed jars like jelly, spaghetti sauce, etc.

Love this product, way better then the gimmicky motorized openers that sometimes work but often simply fail. This works all the time and is super easy and effortless to use. It can be used on to open a small bottle or a large jar, all with ease.

Saves damaging nails, cuts. Worth it. We have 2.
