Work really well for canopy
I bought these to help weigh down my canopy at vendor events. I packed in several pounds of pebbles. The bags are well made and stitched good. I haven’t had any rips when I pick the up. No leaks of rocks. The size is great. And the handles make it easy to pick up and la down. They Velcro around the legs of my canopy and the Velcro is strong. Good product.

Very functional and good value
Where I live it can get windy in the evenings. I use easels with signs for events, these sand bags are the perfect size to hold them down. Easy to open and fill with a Velcro opening at the top. It also has Velcro strips along the edge, making it easy to secure it to other objects. They are simple to store and don’t take up much space. The material used is strong and resilient, I have also filled them with gravel. They are the perfect size to carry and look nice too.

Great value for the money, but they won't last forever.
I usually find large rocks to put in these instead of dirt. It works really well but I am worried that they'll eventually to these bags as they are pretty thin. I try and find the smoothest rocks I can to try and prevent a tear. I'm not sure how well these would work with just the Velcro to attach them to the canopy legs. I attach the Velcro but I also have nylon rope attached to the handle of the bags and the top of each canopy leg. The bags are attached to the legs, but they also end up hanging by the handle. This seems to maximize to effectiveness of the weight of the bags. I have used these on a canopy in light wind with moderate gusts. When the weights were on all 4 legs I didn't have any issues. I had them on two opposing legs of a canopy once and it wasn't enough and the canopy lifted off the ground and got ruined. This is a pretty good solution for the price and it will work on any surface you put a canopy on.

These work! Fill with your own sand etc!
Excellent item! Fill with sand, grit, cat litter to stabilize patio umbrellas, pop up tent and permanent outdoor gazebos.

They work. They’re cheap.
I needed sandbags for a ez-up style canopy to prevent it from becoming a dangerous kite in the wind. This product suffices. It is a good value. They do feel cheap. They are cheap. Not too cheap. A fair value. I have been using these, filling at the beach and dumping after use, for a few years. They are adequate. The velcro straps feel minimal, but not below adequacy. It keeps my canopy on the ground. Easy to use; a simple product for an essential purpose. Efficient; I do not need to store large disc weights. I can roll up thin nylon and store with canopy. I have even kept them filled to use as makeshift dumbbells for bicep curls. Better and more versatile than a bucket of sand.

Does not hold what it says it holds.
Bags are sturdy, BUT... There is NO WAY These hold 145lbs of sand. I barely got a 50lb bag of sand split into the 4 bags. You will need to find something REALLY heavy and dense to fill these bags and sand is not going to make it even packing it in like I dod.

worked well for pop-up tent
We used these today to hold down our pop-up tent at a community event. We filled them with sand, and they worked great! They were also easy to carry because of the handles on them.

works
Good weight when sand added , easy to use as regular bags and the pole ties to secure multiple tie downs of needed. Using as for sides tie down for our pop up tent/screen room. We also use to secure a 12x12 tarp covering the tent with poles. Functioning as designed (and as a regular bag using extra pole velcro to secure.

I used it for my outdoor canapé. I read other comments where people had issues with the sand coming out so I used a large garbage bag inside of it and then filled the garbage bag, while inside, with sand. Solved that problem. I was worried it wouldn’t be strong enough to hold my tent down because we have high winds where I live. I worried for nothing. The tent never moved an inch. Enjoy. This is a great product.
