I recently replaced the transmission in my Corolla with a JDM transmission from Japan. that transmission was attached to a 1.6 instead of a 1.8 4 cylinder and it had a larger torque converter which I had to use as the original had metal debris. this caused the car to be too sensitive at takeoff so I ordered the pedal commander to reduce sensitivity as opposed to increase it. it worked perfectly for me in ECO mode. I like that I still have adjustment within eco mode to fine tune it. much better than having the dealer reprogram it with only one setting. I don't think this product would be very beneficial if you had a manual transmission at least on a Corolla, it would be better to get a REV hang delete module

Amazing product. My wife loves it. Doesn’t add HP but give your back the throttle response you lose with electric throttle body

I have a 2017 Toyota Corolla LE with a borla exhaust and k&n cold air intake. With this addition driving has been too fun. City +2 is comfortable but trying to move with confidence sport +2 works smooth and responsive. Very happy

Easy to install? Yes, but one caveat: must be done on your knees - not easy for some! I managed it however, and I’m glad I did! My car is more responsive than ever! If you’re on the fence on getting one, the Commander really does work. I’m not sure about fuel savings because I’m having too much fun with “spirited” driving. I’ve been experimenting with settings and haven’t settled yet but I’m somewhere between City+2 and Sport-2. I like the fact that it can be controlled by Bluetooth. I don’t prefer the look of the little control box in my car’s interior so I hid it secured to the firewall under the dash and just use the app to turn it on and off, control settings, etc. All-in-all, a great purchase and an easy upgrade that made a noticeable performance difference on my car! 👍👍

This product is awesome. It made my 2018 Toyota Camry (4cyldr) much more responsive. It feels like a totally different car. Love it and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a better driving experience.

It does the job. The acceleration it gives is immediate and very noticeable. I did the test and let my wife drive the car without telling her that I had installed the commander. The feedback he gave me was that it was like driving a different car. I do not give the fifth star because I did not like the fact, at least in car (toyota corolla 2020 1.6 gasoline), the acceleration with the controller is felt up to 2500-3000 rpm at any program (except eco of course) and not more. After this the car returns to the same as before. I would like it to keep up the acceleration at bigger revs as well
