Scalpmaster Wire Cushion Brush

After scrolling hairtok, I bought this and a $40 brush. I haven’t even touched the $40 brush because I am OBSESSED with this affordable brush. The brush is sturdy, high quality and I love that there are no balls on the end of the bristles. I brushed half my head with my old wet brush and half with this one and even my husband from an all boy family could notice the difference! I have long, very fine hair but I have ALOT of hair so it tangles easily. This brush detangles with ease and I really love the way it feels on my scalp. I don’t have a particularly tender head though so I don’t know if it would feel like too much for others. I do know that my husband likes the feeling too. I want to buy one for everyone I know!

I bought this brush specifically for my extensions, and it really does the job. The wire bristles glide through without snagging at the bonds, which makes detangling so much easier than with a regular brush. It helps keep my extensions looking smooth and prevents matting.That said, the bristles are definitely sharp. You need to be gentle or it can feel scratchy on your scalp. I wouldn’t recommend it for someone with a sensitive head, but if you’re careful, it works perfectly for extensions. The handle feels sturdy, and the brush has held up well with daily use.

This brush is fantastic. It doesn't have the little plastic bobbles on the end of each metal bristle, so people with sensitive scalps will want to be aware of that. But I like the way that the metal bristles feel on my scalp when I brush gently. I actually bought this brush to detangle really tangled doll hair because I saw the hairdressers using it at the American Girl doll shop in Nashville. It's very similar in construction to the official AG brush, but it's much bigger and a plus when dealing with dolls that have been left with crazy hair. The women at the doll salon highly recommended it. I agree. American Girl recommend always using a wire brush on doll hair because plastic brushes on plastic hair causes static and tearing of hair. I've put this to the test and it's definitely true in practice. Very pleased with the cost of this brush as well compared to other brushes on the market.

I bought this brush to try it out on my Afghan Hound. It has been a huge success—it sweeps away all the dead hair and is super durable. I use it every week, and I recommended it to my friends who own the same breed; they love it.

For the price, it’s a pretty good brush that detangles hair decently and offers the added benefit of stimulating the scalp with its wire bristles. However, the wire bristles are not carefully rounded down and are rather sharp, which can cause accidental scratches on the scalp.Overall, it’s a decent brush that delivers good value for money, but I wish the bristles had a more rounded-down edge for a gentler brushing experience. With some improvement in the design of the bristle tips, this brush could be exceptional.

Wonderful brush

I did not buy this for my own hair. It was intended to be used on my American Girl dolls since their hair requires wire bristle brushes. Lots of other reviews mentioned the bristles being stiff and scratchy. They certainly are! Ouch! Works well as a temporary replacement brush for my dolls but not for my Human head. I tried it and did not enjoy it for regular brushing and detangling when I compare it to Wet Brushes. It's not really a gentle tool.

I was just covering a rounded pin brush, this ain’t it. But it feels nice and I needed the extra stimulation. I have wavy hair so I’ve only combed it for years. This get through my hair easily and I use it several times a day. I think it’s stimulating hair growth

Me gustó el cepillo, es difícil encontrar que sea de alfileres, el detalle es que deberían agregar algo en la punta de cada alfiler porque queda muy filoso al cepillar.

Very invigorating for scalp

I was looking for a brush like this for years. I used to buy them when I lived in Switzerland but since I live in Canada, only plastic brushes are available for purchase. This brush massages the scalp and is great to help hair growth.
