I have used this product for years, upon initial planting and also thereafter to encourage healthy reblooming. The instructions say to use 1 1/2 tsp per bulb on initial planting (or 4 lbs/60 sq ft, or 1 1/2 lbs=4.5 cups/25 ft in a row) for initial planting. Then this should be reapplied after spring bloom for fall plantings, or when plants are 6" high for spring & summer plantings. My daffodils have done very well over the years. I used it for tulips in the fall for the first time and look forward to the results. This is a quality products which performs as it should. Highly recommended! Note: this formula is 3-5-3, which is different than Bulb-tone used to be, but my flowers did beautifully with this formulation. Plants appropriate for Bulb-tone: daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, crocus, lilies, gladioli, dahlias, peonies, iris Bulb-tone also comes in an 18 lb bag for a better value.

Love this stuff. I'm a fairly clueless gardener. I actually hate gardening, but love the look of beautiful, colorful flowers in the yard. I've planted tulips, lilies, and daffodils over the years. They would come up, but weren't anything wonderful. However, all that changed when I learned about Bulb tone. FABULOUS product. I make sure to use it each Fall and Spring. I put it down wherever I've planted bulbs and my flowers look amazing when they come up. Complete strangers stop as they drive by and ask me what I do to get such great flowers? As I said at the outset, I'm clueless, so it has to be the bulb tone. Now, year-after-year, all my bulbs come up and they're HUGE, beautiful, vibrant flowers. I even had repair men in the neighborhood stop their truck and ask me about the flowers. This is great stuff!

I got lotsa bulbs.I wish it wasn't so damn expensive.I love beauty,and once again,Gotta have money if you want beauty.

I'm familiar with this product as I used it all last year. It's good and does what it says. However, it arrived in a box with other items and the bag leaks a very strong smell, to the point where everything in the box stinks of the fertilizer! If you're going to purchase this, do yourself a favor and purchase it separately from other items, especially if those other items are food!

I've really come to appreciate Espoma products through the YouTube channel "Garden Answer" and I just love this bulb tone! We planted some spring bulbs in the fall and I have no doubt that this product is the reason that, so far, they are growing...I'm amazed and super excited and I genuinely recommend Espoma Fertilizers.
