It just plain works!
I have used this filter twice in as many years and have been very pleased with the results. I installed it in-line on my Acura MDX. The transmission is a drain and fill only and it's only about four quarts at a time. Initially I drained it, refilled, drove 100 miles then repeated the process - fluid was still slightly dark. I installed the filter and within a week of driving the fluid looked like new! Changed it again one year later just because - fluid was still clean!

Not for Subaru
This isn't a good replacement for the external filter element for a Subaru. Just so people know.

Nice added protection for my new monster transmission
Nice added protection for my new monster transmission. Bought 2. One for break-in after transmission install.. Didnt cut it open to see if it worked but noticed a difference when changing the pan filter. Not so much metal in there as expected. Good Product.

No name filter
The filter is NOT the same as advertised. The box has APT on it but the filter has no name and looks like cheaply made.

As others say, not as pictured
Dunno how/why it's allowed to show the photo of something not being sold, but whatever. ATP stuff is ok. I suspect they changed the design to save money. Price is ok. As long as it does what it's supposed to, it's fine. It came with 2 short pieces of hose, 4 clamps, and the filter. Fits in the space I needed it to without contacting the condenser or grill.

Magnet
I installed a Wix (non magnet) on my car. After looking at the youtube video on this, I wish I had put this one on. I bought several of these, and will be replacing the Wix with one of these.
