Very secure exhaust pipe connection
Clamped very securely and has not needed to be tightened or adjusted once yet. These are a great alternative to welding if you have a lap joint where the pipe slips into the other.

Only way to go when doing your own exhaust system. Clean finish and no leaks.

Exhaust Clamps Should be uses on exhaust systems
Exhaust clamps can be removed whenever needed. U clamps make it extremely difficult to separate the exhaust overlapping joint because when a U clamp is tightened the exhaust pipes generally have a u shaped groove created. Welding should only be used when an permanent extension is added into the exhaust system.
