Quality part/ life advice in the review
Made truck go vroom vroom again. Can't complain about the sensor but will complain that my body aches are getting worse as I get older. Who knew? Anyway it may not help your aging joints but it will help your engine. I'm on to look for some ibuprofen best of luck to you in your car repairs. I have faith in your abilities to bring it roaring back to life. If you're aging already please talk to your doctor about what sort of pain relief may be right for you as car repairs can bring out pain in places that never hurt before and always remember they are healthcare professionals so they will laugh behind closed doors if you tell them some random part of your body now hurts because you farted.

ACDelco 213-4761 Professional Crankshaft Position Sensor Assembly
As stated by another reviewer the Photo is inaccurate. Shims are Not included, available through GM dealers or online. This is a great example of the differences between the Professional and the Advantage lines of parts, or part grades. The 213-4667 is identical to the OEM metal embedded sensors found on 1999-2005 4.3's that I personally know of. Having seen both, the Advantage grade is lighter and the sensor is all plastic (I believe this came with shims for a period) Same service life????? Time will tell with good & accuate data. All GM dealers use the Professional version as the GM replacement part.

Failed prematurely
Worked for a couple months and then started reading incorrectly. Didnt throw a code but made my truck start misfiring and backfiring. Left me stranded and made me miss a day of work. Also did not seem to be a genuine AC Delco part. Just cheap chinese junk like the rest.
