ColourTree 4' x 50' Grey Fence Privacy Screen Windscreen

Exactly what I needed! I needed something not too expensive and I needed it now. I have a 4 ft. chain link fence so no one wanders into the canal behind my house but because my back yard lines up with the end of the street across the water, everyone stops and stares constantly. I mean CONSTANTLY. It doesn't matter that it's my backyard or that my young daughters are swinging and playing there, they sit in their cars and stare at us and through to the other side. It wasn't always like this here, I grew up here after all, but in the last 6 years or so it's gotten really bad. Perverts, Lookey Loo's, sight seers, whatever you want to call them, they drive a half of a mile down a dead end street and sit and stare into/through my yard. Well enough is enough. With everything on lockdown and it being summer we are spending much more time in our yard so I started looking for something and this sounded like the best bet. It's supposed to be UV resistant and it comes with enough cable ties. I ordered more but haven't needed them yet. My husband put it up in no time. I know it's sewn on the ends but we still cut it and rolled the end and cable tied through the fabric so it would fit and then did the gate. We left the other side open for the view from the house which is past the street anyway. So far it's been AMAZING! You can see just a little through it not enough to make a difference, it's sturdy and we just had a tropical storm with wind gusts up to 70 mph and the fence bowed only a tiny bit, would've anyway, and all the cable ties held and no fraying or any issues. I've had it up for about a month and now people are driving on by instead of staring. Definitely worth it! Also no problem with the weed whacker. We have a 4ft fence and I ordered the 4x50ft. Fits perfect. Totally worth the money and if you want to take it down just clip the ties. July 8, 2021 Update: Still love it! It's been up since last year and I've only had to replace some of the cable ties this Spring. We live in a VERY windy area and we have all of the seasons. Love it! No damage to the chain link fence, which is about 4 years old, and the privacy fence is perfect. My husband suggested maybe bailing wire so you'll never have to change the cable ties but we haven't done that. He also said that eventually you may need to change the metal straps on the fence but right now they're fine with no damage, just trying to forsee any possible future issues. Took care of the problem completely! Update: March 2022 - Held up really well so far. There has been a few Noreaster's with very high winds and lots of UV exposure. We've had to replace snapped cable ties about 5 times, not on the whole thing just in places but the weather here is windy most of the time, lots of big storms, and all of the seasons, so it's to be expected. I would recommend some sort of bailing wire if you could use it or something like it. I'm not sure about rust etc but it'll keep from having to replace cable ties. The fence is still perfect and the privacy fence is getting a little worn and I can see the beginning of fraying. Great product!! Only supposed to be temporary but has held up amazingly!!! One of the most worth while things I've spent money on.

This product is sturdy and made very well! It provides the desired privacy and is very quick and easy to install! It has definitely created a private sanctuary in our back yard space. Our great dane is less anxious with the screening in place. Well worth the price!

Perfect amount of shade and sun protection. Love the style and size of the product. Very durable holds well to high winds. And the color was spot on! Easy to install. The grommets are of great quality. The seams are so tight and look to have a great quality job.

Best 15 minutes and $42 we have spent! We ordered special size for width and high and it fits perfectly. This is BROWN. Black was too dark. Taut Breathable (we live in windy area) Fits great Easy to install Doesn’t pull on fence Lightweight Wish it had more grommets — we could use a few more. 16” apart maybe, for that I marked down one star. You FEEL like you have more privacy than you actually do - if that makes sense. Even if it only lasts one season it is worth the $42’ We used our own longer cable ties for the corners as the one with it didn’t reach well over our posts. I hope you like the video and pics as the others here showed wrinkled messy ones - pull it taut! We will cut the ties after installation complete. Brown is GOOD! I recommend!

Highly recommend! We bought two of the black 4’ x 50’ privacy screens for our 4-foot fence because our neighbors have several small dogs and we have a Great Pyrenees and an Aussie puppy. When the dogs could see each other through the fence, they would bark nonstop and run the fence line, which was stressful and very loud—especially since I work from home. As soon as we installed the first section, the difference was immediate. The neighbor’s dogs came outside, couldn’t see ours, and simply went back inside without barking. Our dogs also stopped running the fence line because they can’t see the other dogs anymore. The peace and quiet has been amazing. The material is thick and durable—almost like a heavy tarp—with grommets every few inches and long zip ties included. The black color truly blocks the view; it’s not see-through at all, which is exactly what we wanted. My stress level has already gone down, and that alone made it worth the purchase. If you’re trying to stop dogs from reacting to each other through a fence, this works incredibly well. We’re even considering buying more for another section of our yard. I purchased this myself and was not compensated in any way. Highly recommend these privacy fence screens!

I just finished attaching the second one to my tubular metal 16' gate. I've never liked being able to see the road, but the GSD is being a real hardhead about vehicle chasing from inside the property, and this has definitely thwarted his favorite pastime! You can see more close up; at a distance they seem more opaque. The wind will penetrate, but can go through since they're a plastic open weave. I don't expect that they'll last for years and years, but they weren't too expensive, so a couple of years would be wonderful. The South Florida sun is hard on everything! I didn't have any issues installing them on the outside, flat side of the gates. Each screen had a package of zip ties that were just long enough to circumvent the tubular steel of the gate. The grommets are gold and look to be firmly attached, though they are installed in loosely woven plastic, clearly with a stabilizer of some sort, so they do seem that they'll last as long as the screen! All things considered I believe this to have been a great purchase and I would use this brand again!

Great quality.

Put up a privacy fence 4 years ago and it's still as strong as the day we put it up. We are using this around the base of our rental Mobile homes because the foundation around it has cracks in it and this will both cover it and let the house breathe. We can put it right over what's existing now. We are putting wood around the base to cover whatever is left over extending out and it will help us from having to weed eat regularly. Always looking for solutions and time management. Great value for the money. You won't be disappointed

The product description said that neighbours will not be able to see through it, but they can. It also said that it would stop our dog seeing through it but he still can. It's too much bother to pull it all down or I would return it for a refund. Did you send us the wrong one? Please advise.

We purchased this privacy screen after reading other reviews about it helping stop dogs from barking at each other. We just installed it and it was very easy. The material is thick enough to give privacy but it also lets some light in which we like. Not sure yet about how it works with stopping the dogs from barking at each other yet but we are very hopeful. We are going to buy more to do the other part of our yard.

Very easy to install and far stronger than I had imagined. Used it on my side of a chain fence to stop invasive plants as well as the extra snow my neighbour blows through my way. Went through a major wind event, snow, freezing rain, and still looks as good as new. Plants really stand out against the black backdrop as well.
