Good quality. Stays sharp and they are tougher than they look. Great for trimming goat hooves!

These stay sharp for a while, but you will need to ocassionally sharpen them. I use these for goat hooves - i have 60 goats, and do all of them quarterly. I can get all 60 done in a week without needing to sharpen these. I have small hands but it's still easy to use with one hand while I hold the hoof with the other. I also use these for all sorts of other uses, such as cutting net wrap off round bales, trimming and pruning plants, opening boxes, opening grain bags... you name it. It works for everything.

I have a mini pig (280 pounds). Her hooves haven't been trimmed in two years. The pandemic broke out just as she needed it and no one could make house calls. I'm using these little shears to, little by little, make a dent in her too long hooves. They're sharp. They work alright. It's such a difficult job because it has to be done one tiny clip at a time without annoying the pig too much. These shears will pinch your hand if not careful, but they are doing what they're supposed to do. They are very sharp. Pay attention.

I got these to clip my pigs hoofs and they really aren't up to the job. Not enough leverage or blade strength. But they work great cutting their hair or clipping flowers. For what I bought them for I'd give them a -11. Maybe goat hooves are not as tough as Kuni-Kuni hooves; I don't know. But I would not get them for any hoof clipping. For what they appear to be designed for, I'd rate them as perfect. Nice and sharp bypass shears that work great on stems.

These were perfect for dividing my dahlia tubers! I struggled with some store bought ones and decided to give these a try! So glad that I did! Easily cut through dahlia clumps and made dividing a breeze!!! Since then I’ve also used them to cut flowers in my garden as well as collect the seed pods from plants! I will be purchasing this item again for sure!

These shears were well made. I used them to trim the hooves of my goat herd. They worked well and had no play. What I wanted to cut was cut. The straight blades helped with getting under the hoof wall. Also very sharp. The only 2 complaints I had were the locking switch is plastic and the lanyard is a very cheap plastic. Neither is a big deal to me and these will suit my needs perfectly but if you will be a heavy user those two features may be sub par over time. I would buy these again.

I'm so glad my pig just chilled by my side watching ghost adventures while we sat under my truck (hey favorite spot). She was way over due and it was almost like she knew I was trying to help her feet. They're so perfectly sharp that they cut most of her nails with minimal effort . She's back to being the happy tootsie roll I know. They were easy to grip for my small hands and helped so much. Next up are my goats. 😁

ETA- Almost two years later and I still love it. Its not hard to take it apart and sharpen it if needed. I abuse them pretty hard so I have needed to sharpen them, but Ive cut literal bones with them I actually got these really just for trimming my goats hooves. They do a great job... so sharp that I did knick myself just by accidentally touching the end. But thats operator error lol. Then I started using it for trimming willows and other plants also. Good value for what it is and im glad they come super sharp

These are great !!! Bought them to trim our goats hooves, they did not disappoint. These worked great and were very sharp. They made quick work of the hoof trimming job for this amateur!!!

Have used once so far to trim the hooves of our 4 goats who came to use with very overgrown hooves. The shears are very sharp and worked extremely well.
