Flowmaster Flow FX Chambered Muffler – 2.50" Center In / 2.50" Center Out

A nice deep tone when easy on the pedal, but opens up with more pedal. It is loud, but not straight pipe loud. Fits perfectly and looks good too. I like it on my Hemi jeep.

If you are looking for a good growl without obnoxious rasp and on a great budget.... This is the route to go. Sounds very good on a 1uz v8, great growl but not overly loud. Would recommend for sure

I was after a bit more sound from my 2003 5.3L Tahoe when I purchased the FlowFX. After having this muffler on my truck for several months now I can say it's definitely louder but it wasn't quite the sound I was looking for. There's nothing wrong with it and this is actually a really nice sounding muffler if you're looking for a really smooth sounding exhaust. I would say this is mellower (if that's even a word) then most of the magnaflows I have heard. That being said the flowFX does sound fuller imo then other Flowmaster mufflers out there. Much less tin can sounding and more like a Magnaflow. I personally like my exhaust to have a little more of a throaty sound to it and this was just too bass heavy for me. The biggest down side by far is the presents of drone. After reading some reviews on here, there's a handful of people claiming that the drone isn't bad or is very tolerable but to each their own. I would say this is a solid 6/10 on the drone scale. It's not the worst drone I have heard but it's enough to bother the family on road trips. For this reason I will be removing it from the Tahoe and am going to replace it with something else. I don't fault the muffler for this at all as it's not really claiming to be drone free. The construction of the muffler is good and looks to be high quality. If you don't care about drone and are looking for a smooth and mellow sounding muffler this will do.

Love this thing, exactly what I wanted my truck to sound like. Deep rumble at start up and acceleration and nice and soft at cruising with no drone.

Sounds great on a Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. The shop that swapped out the stock exhaust with these had to use pipe “reducers” to fit the bigger diameter of these mufflers, but that was my fault.

Good deeper more aggressive sound, not op pound until you want it to be! Fit well on a 2015 ford focus with a 2.0”-2.5” in adapter.

Little too quiet for my taste when I just replaced the muffler with this, but definitely added some real nice tone to my 4.6 F150. Drone was like zero but I like my muffler delete currently. Probably would sound great with a cat delete or headers and pair it with one or two of these.

I love the way it sounds, i had a hard time picking what muffler i wanted based on youtube videos and word of mouth, as i couldn't fully appreciate what different ones sounded like. But i am very satisfied that i chose the FlowFX, it sounds great, looks decent, and is great for the price. It actually made my truck get slightly better fuel mileage compared to the stock muffler, so i can assume it helped engine performance. It was a littler shorter than the stock muffler, but i also had a Y-pipe so it fit perfectly for my application. (Please ignore my shoddy welds lol, i used a flux core welder) I put this on my 03 Silverado 1500HD with the 6.0L LS, Stock.

Back in the old days, I used to pay a fortune for these branded mufflers to be shipped from the States to Dubai. Thanks to Amazon, I can now buy quality stainless steel Flowmaster mufflers for the same price I'd pay if I was in the States, and same day delivery! Big thumbs up! 2.5" is the size of the inlet/outlet pipes internal diameter, by the way.

Very well made. No defects or scratches. (not that scratches matter to much for me) Installed on my 1983 Firebird 5.0L. I used some pipe to adapt it to my old exhaust and did a “Y” right after the Flowmaster right into down pipes. It sounds absolutely amazing considering I have stock exhaust manifolds. Very easy on the ears. Highway driving I only notice it when flooring it or activity listening. Any audio clip I could get wouldn’t do the sound justice. Very clear, and smooth. I recommend considering the good price

Super cost effective solution to your own custom exhaust. Other complete cat back solutions from other performance exhaust producers were much more expensive, so I decided to build my own. These were installed in short order and performed the same duty and intent for much less. Super satisfied, used two to replace the single OEM dual outlet factory muffler. Pros - great sound, great look, cost effective Cons - ummm none that I can think of. Do your research and see what other pieces like hangers, piping and other materials you'll need.
