2-3/8" Flexible Desk Grommet - Color: Black - 5 Pack

THANK YOU to the reviewer who suggested that a 2-5/16 hole was perfect! I used a 2-5/16 hole saw to open the bac of a tv cabinet and these grommets fit very nicely. Snug enough that they required a bit of push to insert, and they seat with a nice little snap. Very secure. I’d think that 2-3/8 would be a bit loose. Grommets themselves are nice soft plastic. The slitted opening holds cords in place as you are setting things up so that they don’t fall all over the place. You can get a good number of cords through one.

After reading some reviews I was concerned that this would fit. However, with a 2 inch wood bit it fits perfectly. No issues.

I have a desktop on a wall of cabinets. The counter top is primarily black. I know I wanted a hole for cords, etc. in the back of the desktop, but wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. This grommet was the same size as some of the other grommets I wanted (with USB ports etc.). I purchased this set with the two others I wanted. When the quartz countertops were being installed, they had no problem drilling the hole to fit the grommets. The different grommets all fit and there must be a standard size. This grommet set of three, were fairly inexpensive and I am currently using until I need one of the other two with USB ports.This grommet blends in perfectly on my countertop - don't notice it. I've only used them about a month and not with any cords. I expect them to work as well with cords since they are sturdy as well as flexible. And if they get funny after a time, I have two more.

I took off one star because the size is a little too small for a 2" hole saw and not small enough for a 1 7/8" hole saw (i tested both on a piece of scrap wood before going with the 2"). To make up the difference I used some window foam in a roll with adhesive on one side. I wrapped the grommet, compressed the foam and slid them in. When the foam expanded the grommets fit really snug in their holes and do not move when feeding cables.

Easy to pop in and take out. Has a nice grip on the 2” hole, so it stays in place well during use. I use it most frequently as a placeholder in case a client wants to add a monitor arm to their desk at some point down the line.

Just what we needed! Installed a new counter top in out craft room and wanted to keep things neat. They popped right into place once the hole was drilled and the fins were soft enough that they didn't pinch the cords. We didn't need 10, but for the price it was worth having extra.

Definitely smaller than 2”. Got through right drill piece and it still didn’t fit properly. Not the hugest deal, I’m gonna try putting some rubber bands around each grommet you fill up the suave some more.

I was a little skeptical that these would fit in a hole drilled with a 2" Hole Saw based on several reviews complaining the grommet did not fit snuggly in a hole drilled by a 2" Hole Saw. So far, I have only used one grommet and drilled the hole for it with a 2" Hole Saw. The grommet fit snuggly into the hole I drilled. It stayed in place when passing a 1" bundle of cables through it.

The hole needs to be a little bigger than listed, but sanding worked and the tight fit is great

Hold perfectly. Try to do the hole just a bit smaller. It will be stuck and won't move
