Had a very noisy potentiometer in an old but very well liked clock radio. BW-100 contact cleaner did an excellent job in restoring the device to a very good operating condition.

This stuff works on fixing game controller stick drift and buttons not making the proper contact. Thanks to the YouTube video by TronicsFix “Analog Stick Drift - Will Cleaning Fix It? Clean vs Replace Challenge”, I bought the BW-100 to use on my Xbox Elite Series 2 controller that had a faulty RB button. I had previously used IPA with no success. All it took was one good spray of BW-100 to bring my RB button back to life. I waited at least a week to leave this review, and so far so good. Highly recommended.

I bought this after watching a video on YouTube where the person used this to clean joysticks for controllers. It seems to work just as well as it did in that video. You can spray at on any part of the PCB and it will help clean off any gunk that’s built up. Very simple to use like WD-40 and is versatile. Recommend using safety glasses as this stuff can splash back pretty forcefully when spraying into confined areas or components. Safety is important. Other than that, I can’t say much about the durability and how long the can lasts yet. Not the most affordable stuff, but you can’t just find it at the local store. I’d buy this stuff again for sure.

My wife had a bluetooth wireless mouse that started flaking out on her whenever she clicked the mouse button. So she stuck that one on the shelf and purchased a new mouse. Well, now my company wants it's employees to show up at work several days a week, and I wanted to use a comfortable mouse. So I grab this and head to work. Yikes! What a mistake. That thing was impossible to use. If I mashed the mouse button really hard, it would sometimes work, or double click...no rhyme or reason. So I purchased this based off of an online video repair guy who recommended it and he wasn't kidding! I sprayed it on the mouse button, clicked it a bunch of times with a q-tip and the thing's been working fantastically. So I grab my Yamaha D7-FDII synth which has a data slider that is a little jumpy and sprayed some of it in there and moved the slider...and now the thing is as smooth as butter...no jumping around. My XBox Elite controller had a flaky joystick. A couple shots of this, and it works like new again. Amazing stuff this is...saves me a lot of headache and hassle! Worth the purchase in what it's saved me so far!

Can seal was opened and used the straw that comes with the can was missing. But over all the product cleaned my electronics the way it's designed. Just wish I had the straw to better clean with the product in the hard to reach areas

Saved so much frustration and money! The kids love their Breath of The Wild and Pokemon, but the left and right joysticks on both JoyCons were drifting badly. I tried every calibration and update available first, but that didn't fix the drifting. Per a YT video, I ensured the JoyCons weren't turned on, used tweezers to gently lift up the rubber flaps under the joysticks, sprayed this in there using the straw attachment thing it came with, and moved the joystick all around, also pushing down to make sure it got way down in there... Let it dry. Repeated all these steps 3 more times for each one, spraying from a different angle each time and moving it around as much as possible before it dried. It dries fast. And I used a lot - I drenched it accidentally a couple times. Been several weeks and no drifting whatsoever! Incredible! I'll use this for maintenance every few months because apparently gunk builds up in there, and apparently the JoyCon joysticks are particularly sensitive, causing drifting at the tiniest amount of debris. I recommend using this for cleaning other problematic electronic parts too, like the charger connections to the phones that get gunked up and sometimes stop charging. I spray a tiny bit in there, wrap a tiny piece of paper towel on the end of a toothpick and gently scrape out any gunk. Of course making sure they're totally powered off first. Anyway thank you so much for this effective and affordable ($12) product!!

I was first introduced to BW100 while watching a video on Facebook by the channel name of TronicsFix. If you are into repairing any sort of electronic devices, I highly recommended checking his channel out. I initially bought BW100 just to have, in case I might need to use it one day. About a week after purchasing, the X button on my PS5 controller started sticking when pressed multiple times in a row. I simply sprayed he BW100 around the button and let it sink in to reach underneath the button. Within 1 minute, my X button was working properly again and is still functioning properly to this day. One of the best things about BW100 is that it is non-flammable, won’t cause unwanted damage to other areas, and it dries extremely quickly. If you are into repairing electronics, or have issues with buttons sticking like I did, or if your controller thumb sticks are slow and unresponsive, or any other of the tons of issues that could occur, BW100 is must have item.
