Hex S Gigabit Ethernet Router Dual-Band With Sfp Port (Rb760Igs)

Using mikrotk since 4-5 years. Last year upgraded to HEX-S, better than my old HAP-Lite. 2 core 4 thread CPU. Lots of RAM with enterprise features.

Good product for me

This was my first routerOS device and am writing this review after using it for more than a year. After the initial effort of setting it up and learning the basics the rest has been fantastic. Using this as the main router with two 200mbit WANs, all IP cam security system in all about 50-100 clients at any given time. Have had zero hardware problems so far. Some configuration faux pas were made at the start but were easily corrected with some reading up. Later replaced 3 tp link wifi extenders which were being used as aps with Mikrotik CAP ACs and configured with CAPsMAN and boy did that take things to a whole new level of quality coverage and easy management. 5 STARS!

A very powerful device at this price. With this you can do almost anything you want to do with a router. If you're using less than 1 Gbps connection, stop thinking and just buy this router. User needs to have some knowledge about Networking to configure this router, This is not like any other wifi router. Once properly configured, it works like a charm.
