Great cookie book. Lots of easy and tasty recipes. Beautiful pictures easy to follow recipes

First of all I'm obsessed with Sally's baking, watch her You Tube videos and own her cookbooks. The recipes are great for the entire family to join in the fun of making goodies with easy to follow instructions. As a grandma of two boys , I enjoy getting the boys involved in deciding what treat to make and try even changed it up a little. Have a made any of the cookies or bars yet in this book, the answer is absolutely. Another thing my regular oven is on the blitz and been using my 32qt Beelicious 19 and 1 toaster oven. The batches are smaller so bake time and temperature adjusted without fail.

This cookbook is not only beautiful (photos for every recipe!), but it is detailed, well-written, and easy to follow whether you're a first-time baker or seasoned pro. There are explanations and tips at the beginning for what ingredients and baking equipment to use, and there are helpful hints and make-ahead tips throughout. I've made the super chewy chocolate chip cookie bars, giant m&m cookies, chai tea spice shortbread, and the banana almond berry breakfast cookies so far. Each recipe has been delicious and I've received rave reviews from friends and coworkers (because there's no way I could keep them in the house and trust myself not to eat them all haha). If you love baking and/or you love cookies, you need this cookbook in your arsenal!

It contains excellent recipes, and for someone who is just starting out in baking, it would undoubtedly be a wonderful book. It explains and gives instructions very clearly.

I loved Sally's Cooking Addiction. This one is arranged differently - a chapter on sprinkles - and too heavily weighted in chocolate for my taste. Not as original as her earlier book.

No matter if you're an expert or novice baker, Sally's Baking Addiction blog and her cookbooks like "Sally's Cookie Addiction" are for you! With so many amazing recipes, all with color photos, recommendations, tips, and more, you will never be bored in the kitchen. I speak from experience that I always have success with any of Sally's recipes and often refer friends/family to her blog and now her 3 cookbooks. She has a great, creative ideas for cookies in this book, but nothing comes off as too difficult, cumbersome, or not worth the effort. The tips at the beginning are excellent as well for the best and most necessary baking tools, tips for making ahead, basic frostings, and how to stop the dreaded cookie spreading. You can tell Sally really cares about her recipes, tests them until they are perfect, and we are the ones that benefit. I also can highly recommend her other two books, "Sally's Baking Addiction" and "Sally's Candy Addiction".

Sally does it again!! Think you have all the cookie recipes you need? Think again! Sally's recipes always turn out and no matter how difficult, Sally makes it accessible. It's like having your best friend cheerfully helping you in the kitchen. Each recipe has lovely photos and my favorite part: a little write-up at the top about what these cookies are all about. I don't bake as much as I'd like to, so I really look at all the details before deciding what to bake - Sally helps me make up my mind every time. The game-changer (for me) in this book is make-ahead instructions for EVERY single cookie! I'm not baking for a crowd, so now I can (easily, without searching for the details on the internet) whip up a whole batch of dough and only bake half (or fewer!) and freeze the rest for: special occasions (I'm going to rock Christmas this year) or when I need a quick bake (hello new neighbors!). My bottom freezer drawer is now a "baked-goods only" area until after the holidays. I would encourage everyone to buy the print version instead of the Kindle (or maybe both?) as it's a beautiful book to hold in your hands and look through. Also, you can add your own notes and ratings to each page as you bake your way through. Got a delightfully perfect bake on that shortbread last time, but can't remember the details two month later? Write it on the page - the recipe might say to bake for 15-17 mins and by the third tray, I've determined 15 mins and 45 seconds to be the golden best and now I'll have that written down for next time! I give each cookie a rating and notes. So far, our favorite has been the Giant M&M's Cookies but none of them have gotten below 5 stars. Cannot wait to bake my way through the rest of the book and reap the rewards come December (and let's be honest, the rest of the year). Get yourself a copy!!

Color photo of every recipe. Easy to understand instructions. Make-ahead, freezing, and personal tips from Sally on every recipe. Useful instructions on how to prevent excess spreading of your cookies and so much more. From Sally"s Family Favorites, All About Oats, to Serious Chocolate Cravings,....and many other chapters of her book, I am amazed and very pleased with the information and recipes she has included in this book!

Hermoso libro.

You guessed it, I've been a big fan of Sally's recipe for a while now and this is my first time acquiring her cook book. The format is good, and she has a lot of fun recipes to try! Some of them are my favorite from the past and some are quite new to me. Excited to keep baking!

Love this new book from an amazing baker! Sally's recipes are clear, well explained, and pretty much fool-proof! She has done all of the research for you and, if you can follow a recipe, you will have success. Her cookie recipes are delicious and the photography is fantastic - one photo for each recipe.
