Ketepa Safari Pure Black Loose Tea - 1.1 Pound Box

Safari tea is grown in the Kenyan high country. At that altitude, I've read, the pests that bother tea are not a problem, since they don't live that high up. Thus, Safari tea is grown without the use of pesticides, which I like. The taste of the tea is great: strong and yet mellow, I think a bit musky. The loose tea is not "leaf tea" in the sense that it looks like leaves. It appears to be leaves rolled into little balls. So I buy brew sacks, 100 to a pack for about $10, to brew a cup of tea without tea debri that gets through a tea screen being left in the bottom of the cup. I vary the strength to get the amount of caffeine I desire at the moment. The caffeine seems to be lower rather than higher in this brand, but I like that, and the taste is full bodied. This is my favorite tea, Safari loose.

Best loose leave tea !!! Strong and flavorful.

I had high hopes for this tea. It is a good price, but for some reason I was expecting high quality Kenyan tea. I was not impressed with the taste and will not be ordering again.

It's strong so only little amount makes a good cup of tea. My only tea so far.

This is a good Kenyan tea. It's fresh and so it has pleasant flavor and taste although not as strong as I wanted it to be. But overall it's good enough for everyday use.

The tea grown in the Kenyan highlands is the best there is as far as black, breakfast style teas go. I have been buying this brand on Amazon for years and they are very consistent. Brewing loose leaf tea is more economical than tea bags and the results are better. This product offers good value for the money.

I was sent TEA BAGS, NOT loose leaf tea as described. This is unacceptable. It was not how the product that is described. I love Kenyan safari tea, but only loose leaf so I can make it to the strength I prefer and it keeps it's flavor longer. If it was a mix-up and they actually sell loose leaf tea I insist on a return.

I compared Safari brand loose tea leaves with other Kenyan teas and found Safari has a greater value for money. The quality of the tea is just as I remember growing up in Kenya. The aroma is rich and enticing. I enjoy making my morning tea.

Ich habe diesen Tee in meinem Urlaub in Kenia gekauft und war begeistert. Leider ist dieser hier qualitativ ein sehr minderwertiges Produkt. Schade ums Geld.
