Best Keyboard I've Ever Had
I bought this keyboard to replace a Das Keyboard 4C Professional. That keyboard has already started to fail only 15 months after purchase, and (of course) the warranty was 12 months long. In contrast, I can tell already that the Cherry MX switches in the Code V3 are going to last a lifetime. Other keyboards that I have with Cherry MX switches are going strong over a decade after purchase. The Code V3 looks and feels fantastic. I have arthritis in both hands, but this has just enough resistance to feel solid without causing discomfort. I can easily type almost 100 wpm without fatigue. It's smooth as butter. The ability to switch from a Mac OS layout to Windows is a nice touch. The switches are easy to use and I switch regularly between computers and OS. The LED lighting is a nice touch and just the right amount of brightness. the lighting is even across the keyboard with no dim spots. This is easily my go-to keyboard from now on.

Nice keyboard with a caveat (Mac users {who are developers} BEWARE!)
Overall, I like the keyboard. It feels nice, the key caps are really cheap (UV Coated ABS) and have a hollow feeling to them, as well as a "squeaky" feeling when you're typing, which I hope would go away. You'll definitely want to get a double-shot key cap set. I've only used it for a few hours now. The keyboard is hefty, nice rubber grips on it. Love that you can customize it ...... ....But, this is where they lose me. I had everything setup, o-rings put on and time invested. Mac mode turned on (SW1) and Fn key turned on (SW6) ... The backtick / tilde key DOES NOT WORK! It nicely prints '§' without shift and '±' with shift. For a Javascript developer who desperately needs the backtick and tilde to WORK, it doesn't. Customer support told me this: "OK, this is a known issue right now with mac mode. The only fix is to disable mac mode and change your command and alt keys through your system keyboard settings. We are working on a firmware solution to this, but don’t have one yet." WHAT? A keyboard that doesn't work? How does that happen... And, why was it released if a key doesn't work in one of the most popular modes around? Hmm... Very disappointed.

Great lighting, excellent key feel
I had a Nighthawk X8 MAX keyboard I loved. It worked for years. Then the coffee happened. I tried many keyboards and eventually settled on this one. The lighting is bright, the keycaps have large letters and numbers, and most importantly, the keys feel "right". I am also pleased that is is a tenkeyless keyboard that still has print screen, etc. I would like for the caps lock indicator to be brighter, but that is the only complaint I have. I actually have two of these so I am ready when the Nighthawk I have at my office finally dies, or when I inadvertently kill the one I am typing on.

Great all around keyboard
This keyboard really fills a niche in the market which is to just have a high quality mechanical keyboard that isn't flashing lights or branding. It's black, it types very well, feels great, and has simple back lighting for night time use which shine through keycaps. This was purchased for someone else and they got it with MX Clears. A bit heavier than what I use but if you like that I can say the Clears go really well with this board. I use Browns for tactile, silent reds for low noise, and Box Whites for clicky. Pros: 1. Overall good solid keyboard built to last. 2. Clean design without heavy marketing. 3. Good simple LED back lighting. 4. Feels good to type on which is the most important thing for anyone buying this kind of keyboard. 5. Little to no ping unless you put your ear right to the key. Cons: 1. Price. It's a bit pricey compared to some of the competitors. 2. ABS Keycaps. Easy enough to fix really but that kind of adds to an already high price.

THE KEYBOARD I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR
If you type a lot and love the feel of a solid, responsive keyboard whose keys leap to meet the fingers, this is the keyboard for you. Ever since I let go of my 1990s IBM keyboard, I've been searching for one I loved as much. I learned a bit about the construction of a good keyboard when researching this one. Separately - at least I think this is an accurate understanding - rings that can be placed beneath keys which, depending on the ring's color - red, blue, white, brown - will temper the key's springiness, or make muffle the click. I love how the board feels without adding another thing. For fast typing, it's a joy to use. Thank you so much for making this much needed high quality product!

Paint is wearing off the keycaps.
I have owned this keyboard for precisely one year. I'm a software developer, so I'm pounding on it all day. I absolutely love the keyswitches, they are precise, clicky loud, and I can touch-type at full speed. On the other hand, the paint is wearing off a number of the keys. Given the price of this keyboard, that's not acceptable. The 2-star rating is a compromise between 5 stars for the key switches and 0 stars for the key caps.

Great typing experience, very solidly made. Little too loud for an office environment when proper up on its legs, not too bad when flat. Very minor complaint. All round a solid keyboard.
