Pop Secret Popcorn, Butter 100 Calorie Microwave Bags, 12 Count Boxes (Pack of 4)

If you want to limit your calories when eating popcorn, the choices are few. IMHO Pop Secret is the best of the limited selection. Butter taste seems real. Popcorn is not too greasy. Pops in the microwave correctly under the popcorn setting. I can't get this at our supermarket, so Amazon is our only source.

This was my favorite popcorn. I was so thrilled that a major brand make a good product I loved and felt good about buying as a treat for my kids. UPDATE: DON'T be fooled I'm very salty (sorry for the pun) and upset that this product recently went out of stock & was changed with new ingredients & different logo box so check before you you order & get the new kind. The box looks different & states "New better Butter Flavor" and the new package now clearly says 'natural & artificial flavors' YUCK. I will no longer be buying homestyle from Pop Secret due to their terrible digression from an all natural healthier product just for they're bottom line. Sigh. Maybe they will bring it back?! In the meantime I'm on the search for the OLD product until it's sold out. 😭

Best 100-calorie snack on the planet!!! And best flavor for popcorn packs like this :)

This product is great! Very few kernels are left unpopped in each bag, and we have not had any issues with the bag/popcorn burning while being microwaved. These mini 100 calorie bags are convenient for snacking, delicious, easy to make, a great value, and a nice low calorie option. I can never find these in the store, so I was pleased to find them on Amazon!

I LOVE popcorn. I can eat it everyday. I have an air popper. I was at a "discount" store and they were selling a case of the Pop Secret Home Style snack size (1.75oz) at a CRAZY low price. I bought it. Needless to say with convenience of not having to pull everything out everyday and melting butter, this was great! 1 minute 10 seconds I had a whole bag of fluffy perfect popcorn with the perfect amount of salt and butter flavor. THAT'S what started the addiction. Down to my last box I went back to the store, Walmart, Target & a few grocery stores. Nothing. I NEED MY POPCORN!! So as I went online I found that the "Home Style" has been discontinued. UGH! They changed to Home Style Butter (which some were complaining that the taste was different) but I couldn't find it in snack size. Whole bags are too much for 1 person & if you don't eat it hot it just tastes stale. This was the closest to the product I wanted. Still 1.75 oz but what made a FULL bag at 1:10 of the home style with 10-15 kernels un-popped now takes 1 minute with about 15-20 kernels un-popped with about 10 kernels burnt on the inside of the kernel. Burnt popcorn makes me gag. The bag burns. The finished product is not a full bag as with the Home Style. It's just about half a bag. With that said. HEY POP SECRET...Where's the snack size Home Style and why do you change a recipe that's EXCELLENT? This will be okay for now. Wouldn't buy again. I'd rather just make my own. One more thing. This one has a funky after taste that the other didn't have. Just disappointed :(

I've tried many other brands and this is still, by far, my favorite. I've also done stovetop, microwave in a bowl, and owned my own theater-style 8oz popper. The theater-style one was fun and probably the second best - but expensive and a bit tricky. With PopSecret, each "butterfly" is big, fluffy but dense, and crisp. The flavor has a light hint of butter but not the artificial yellow junk and it's even throughout the bag. If it's a special night, and you want to pump it up, two or three tablespoon on the stove just long enough to let some of the milk solids boil off then cool for a minute will keep the butter from collapsing the "butterfly". Sure it's my opinion... but I probably have popcorn 3 or 4 times a week and I'm over 50... that's a lot of popcorn...

This is exactly what you get in the store. It's just convenient that it comes right to your door!! Definitely would recommend it. Homestyle is my favorite flavor. Not too salty and not too buttery, but perfectly in the middle :)

This stuff pops well and has a nice taste.
