Keeps my neighbour's child away from my flowers!
Bought this dog lead expecting to use it for the dog, but it has found a far more important purpose. My neighbour's child has an uncanny ability to drift toward my flowerbeds the moment my back is turned, so I now keep the lead handy as a highly symbolic reminder that the petunias are off-limits. Since introducing this gardening system, my roses have never looked happier. The lead itself is sturdy, comfortable to hold, and has excellent reach for dramatically pointing out where feet should definitely not be going. It's become an essential piece of horticultural equipment, right alongside the watering can and the trowel. The child remains perfectly free-range, of course—just under very close "quality control" whenever the tulips are in bloom. Would absolutely recommend to anyone whose biggest garden pest isn't slugs or rabbits, but an enthusiastic little explorer with the spatial awareness of a runaway shopping trolley. Five stars for protecting the flowers and providing the neighbours with something to laugh about over the fence.

Perfect length and control, great quality and comfort.
I am using this together with Sweetie Dog Lead Splitter and it works great. And the addition of traffic control handle is brilliant - it is in a perfect spot to securely control your dogs, but not too short to walk over them. I was a user of 2 retractable leads for 3 years and I did not know how much more pleasant lead-on walks can be. No more untangling every few minutes, perfect control of the dogs in sudden occurrences (you know: cats, dogs, seagull, flying leaf...), no more running after the dog, trying to retract the lead, no more jumping around untangling myself. It takes a moment to get used to bungees as you feel (falsely) that you lose control, while it's stretching, but after few walks it is easy to appreciate lack of sudden pulls and strains on your shoulder and arm, especially when you had a seriously torn muscle just a year ago. First time ever I also can have BOTH my hands free during the walk, just having lead hanged safely on my wrist. I also have a great fun watching my 2 dogs (6kg and 7kg) how they learn to walk in harmony. The length is perfect to keep controlling your dogs, but to also allow them to have fair amount of freedom to explore independently. It's comfortable and great quality.

Well made, will help many issues but can make some worse
Can’t fault it as an item, it’s a good length, the comfy handles are really, really comfy, nice and soft in the hand, which in crummy weather can be a nice bit of comfort, especially as I my skin always gets dry and cracked this time of year. The shorter control handle is really useful, allowing easier traffic crossing when we need it, more control walking the puppy past people and dogs, or even if she’s having a bit of a tantrum, allowing us to keep her close by and safe. Colour is fine, nicely visible at night, and it’s sturdy, good thickness, probably something the puppy can’t get through, but time will tell. As to its effect…it’s a bit mixed, and I don’t say that as a criticism of the item, necessarily. It has helped in some ways, my shoulder and arm aren’t as sore from any sudden movements she makes, and as I said above, the control handle has been useful in a lot of ways. When puppy is more responsive the slight flex of pressure rather than the firmer tug of a regular lead can be a more positive experience for her. However, I’m sure I’m not the only one who knows, it can also have its own downsides, and can’t replace training to reduce the behaviours. For our puppy that flexible pressure if she’s pulling or stopped can actually work against us. If she’s really locked onto something that has her attention the stretch is not firm enough of a cue for her, or if she’s pulling on a walk, the stretchiness she can pull against actually encourages her to pull harder, like it’s a game, and I’ve noticed if we use it for a whole walk or several, her pulling can actually get worse, even on other leads. As it’s also a more standard length, which means it’s not ideal for an explorer walk, but that stretchiness may send mixed signals to the dog as they think they can pull further. This is of course on us the owners to work and train on, and not a criticism of the ite. The actual leash is well made, good quality and I’m happy I bought it. Right now I’m using it as one of two leashes, for the control and as we improve her conduct on walks, and the security of being able to keep her closer on walks where we need to. That said, the length, it’s good but also long enough, with the stretch, that your dog can still get a good start to try and run or lunge, then that extra bit from the stretch so be very mindful of that. But for any newer dog owners or those who may have been advised to buy something simple, it is worth a purchase, but it is a Tool, one of many, not a Solution, to any walk issues. In some ways may work against what you’re trying to do, so continue any and all training work, don’t make it a primary leash until you are absolutely certain of your puppy/dog behaviour.

Wish I found this sooner!
Can I just say I love this lead! My puppy loves to pull me (i have arthritis in my shoulder) and I would be in so much pain. It was making walking her a chore. Now my puppy can enjoy her walk with little pulling, I can enjoy it . The lead is excellent it’s comfortable, strong, I’ve got the option of her going on a short or long lead without any issues

Great lead! Wish I’d got one sooner 👍
I’ve only used it on one short walk so far but I loved it! Both handles are super comfy, the clip is easy to use. I didn’t get whiplash each time she stopped to sniff and I kept walking 😅 The ‘traffic’ handle helped me feel I had good control of her, even when she was reactive 👍 Obviously I can’t say anything for the longevity of the lead yet.

Sweetie bungee lead.
I'm so glad I purchased this bungee lead. I was having difficulty walking my ever growing puppy, he's a mix staffy/akita/Rottweiler, he was pulling quite badly to the point I was concerned about taking him out. I came across this lead & thought, I e tried everything, harnesses, collars, nothing worked then I got this & I can only say how easier this lead has made my dog's life & mine. I'm now enjoying our walks instead of dreading them. He does try to pull but the lead prevents me from being suddenly pulled & he can feel when he's stretched it enough to reduce his pulling. The best purchase I've made in a long time. I've ordered another in a larger size to accommodate him as he grows.

Superb
This was much better than expected, the lead is quite substantial and more than adequate for my two dogs. I have connected mine to a splitter, so I can walk both dogs on one lead. Bungee is great and cushions any sudden stops and the extra loop is great if I want the dogs on a short lead... Well worth the money

Stretch bounce is not for us
Bought this lead after my old figure of 8 lead broke. I’m using it with a halti, so it clips on under chin. The lead is nicely made, good fit in hand. However, it is very short, and the stretch-bounce effect is rather uncomfortable. Also if my boy pulls forward, I can’t just flick the lead back to remind him to get back to position because of the stretchy lead. The other handle (near the clip) could be useful when want to hold dog near you, but only if used with standard collar or back clip harness. It is too close to clip if you use front clip. I use this for short few minutes walk to field only, then let my boy off lead.

Parfait !
Agréable à tenir, amortie bien les chocs. Seconde poignée courte très pratique.

Ideale schok absorptie
