Fantastic! Great flavor and price. First time using this brand and I'll be back again. I'm normally buying organic syrup from Vermont country store and this is just as good.

During the summer golf season, when I'm caddying 5-6 times a week, I can afford to eat pancakes a couple of times per month without ballooning up like the Michelin Man. So I like to have a bottle of maple syrup in the fridge when Hungry Jack is calling my name. The bummer of most traditional glass syrup bottles is that the sugar crystallizes around the plastic cap's threads, making it a royal pain to open. Plus the syrup tends to dribble after pouring. Those "first world problems" are a thing of the past with this brand of maple syrup! The squeeze bottle has a high-tech spout, which self-seals after squeezing the proper amount of maple-y goodness onto the steaming disks of goodness. And the syrup is just as tasty as any I've ever had, thanks to the strict Vermont purity laws. The one weird thing about this product was that the bottle was deformed into a bit of a modern sculpture, resembling the Louvre's "Winged Victory of Samothrace". No idea how that happened, but the bottle dispenses just fine. I'll definitely be re-ordering once this bottle is done, though the next bottle should last much longer...once a week caddy loops won't work off the calories of bi-weekly pancake breakfasts!

After living in New England for a while, I definitely got spoiled with out of this world maple syrup. So, now that I'm no longer living in New England, I've been struggling to find a maple syrup that even remotely acceptable. I've tried countless brands, but I believe I've finally found 'the one.' For anyone who has ever lived up north, you know that super dark syrup is the way to go! I've actually been known to use Grade B syrup! While this particular syrup does not compare to the locally sourced, super dark syrup I fell in love with, it does have a nice robust flavor with subtle complexity. It has a rich maple flavor that will satisfy all but the most discerning palates. While this is not the amber gold I crave, it is an excellent maple syrup that is 100% pure and organic! It's fairly priced and since I get it via subscribe-and-Save, I never run out. Until I find a good maple sugar company that ships by the gallon, this is going to be my go-to syrup. In fact, even after I start ordering direct form the sugar bush, I will probably keep this on hand for family and guests who don't like the intense flavor of my beloved maple sugar! Highly recommend! Not maple syrup tasting at all. Just all sweetness. This product is over-rated. And whoever manufactured the container did not do sufficient research to come up with a good result. The squeeze is uncontrollable. It spurts out a lot of syrup when squeezed. Very disappointing over-all! Dec. 5, 2016. After setting this aside for months outside the refrigerator, I picked it up again, and refrigerated it. One day, I decided to pour it on avocado and added to it yogurt and nuts for a snack. It surprisingly tasted a lot better than when I first tasted it. The maple taste is much more enhanced this time. It also is now thicker, and the combination of the ingredients yielded a much more flavorful taste and rewarding experience. From a 1-star, I now rate it 4 stars. I could have given it 5 stars, but the dispenser leaves a lot to be desired. There is poor control in dispensing amount and the direction of the flow. Now that it has thickened with time, pressing the container to dispense the syrup causes the syrup to flow out of the container, producing mess around and under the cap. I had to wash the syrup off the container after use. The valve in the opening has to be adjusted for better control of the volume and direction of the flow. Over-all, a very good product, but disappointingly constructed dispenser.

✩ Have purchased several times by now. Now buy the big jug. ✩ Has an inner tab that has to be removed, so it doesn't leak during transport. ✩ The basic differences in Butternut maple syrup, as opposed to others, it tastes like maple and comes out thick. Has a particular cap to obliterate drips.

I have tried countless Vermont maple syrups. (I'd love to try Canadian but it is too pricey for me.) It must be pure maple syrup (not Mrs. B or Aunt J) and I purchase from H & D when I can, but otherwise it is whatever is in the grocery store that looks to be high quality. I eat waffles with fresh strawberries at least once per week for dinner (not a breakfast person). Remember during Covid when the grocery store shelves were empty? I needed maple syrup and on the shelf was one lone bottle of Butternut Mountain Organic Maple Syrup...and nothing else. I would never have chosen it otherwise, as it is a plastic bottle. To my delight, it was delicious, and has become my absolute favorite above all others. Finding it here on Amazon, I now have it on "subscribe and save" so I will never run out.

First time to try maple syrup from Amazon. Nice squeeze of the bottle with great design. I need to add more as it’s more fluid. Unsure if it’s better or just different though. I feel it’s less taste than Costco’s in overall.

This is one great tasting maple syrup. The squeeze bottle is also super convenient, and makes it easy to squeeze out the right amount without wastage. It's also a lot less messy versus the regular glass bottle with screw caps.
