I ordered these walking poles for my 90 year old father who suffers with prolonged vertigo. He feels very confident using them and has resumed walking with more confidence. He is very pleased with the sturdiness of the poles.

At the suggestion of my doctor I am finding these poles very helpful in improving my posture, gait and balance thereby increasing my confidence after an injury that needed the use of a rollator walker. I like that they are easy to adjust to my height and then can just as easily be shortened to 29 inches when traveling. The grips are comfortable with its rest for my hand and I like the markings of left and right on top making it easy to grab and use correctly. Highly recommend.

These trekking poles are great! My physical therapist recommended them. They improve on standard poles because they have well-designed ergonomic grips. With these poles, I have less stress on my wrists and enhanced comfort. Length adjustability is good, but not infinitely adjustable like my other trekking poles with flip-locks. These aluminum poles are relatively light, but not quite as light as my carbon fiber poles. The weight difference (maybe an ounce or two?) is not a big deal. I purchased these Activator2 poles (vs. the original Activator poles) because they are shorter when fully collapsed, an advantage when traveling. As noted by others, the poles do not have wrist straps, which may be an issue for those hiking on trails or cross-country. Most of my walking is done in my neighborhood, so the lack of straps is not an issue. When I hike in the hinterlands, I will use my other poles. I have been using trekking poles for 15 years, since I was 60, because of mobility and balance issues. I use them whenever I leave the house. They are much better than walkers or rollators because they require more energy, helping maintain upper body strength, and are easily transported. If you have mobility issues, I recommend checking with your health insurance or using your HSA plan. These trekking poles are an improvement over standard trekking poles for those with mobility issues!

These poles were lifesaver during a tour in Turkey and Greece. The handles have a way to rest your hands and not slip off. Poles are sturdy and heavy duty. Loved the size of the rubber tips keeping me from slipping on concrete/steps/marble.

I find these are very helpful with my walking issues, since I have Spinal Stenosis. The only real issue I have is how cumbersome they are to put away when finished using. A process and storage idea like the one I use when using my hurricane would be nice. just pull apart fold and stow. just a suggestion. all the button pushing, marking and trying to keep together is a bit challenging. I am still looking for a good way to store so they don't hang up on stuff when I put in back of my SUV.

Great quality and very sturdy

Product is excellent, Amazon shipping and order fulfillment was poor. If I were to order these again I would order directly from the company. These are actually a duplicate set that I ordered to send to my vacation destination to avoid having to check them on the airline. This was a mistake. The poles are obviously a return - no tag and missing rubber end caps. Called the company directly and they were wonderful. They are sending replacement caps and said they are having trouble with Amazon fulfillment and many poles delivered with missing parts.

Good build quality - but the delivery was missing the rubber stoppers, which means I can’t use it. I raised the issue on the day of delivery and my issue was accepted, but I still haven’t received any news. So it’s still sitting there untouched.

Very very happy with theses poles. Still recovering from a year old broken hip and was struggling with a crutch. Theses poles have liberated me. I can walk longer distances and get around my allotment now. You immediately notice the difference they make to your posture and therefore your comfort. Almost complete loss of pain when walking. You feel so safe and steady and confident. So glad I invested in these.

Lightweight, and very comfortable to use, and great for me as I nurse my hip towards a forthcoming hip revision. It enables me to walk near normally, should help me avoid the dreaded Trendelenburg Gait, and also work well to aid going up and down stairs using the good leg up, bad down technique. They are very easy to adjust, fold down nicely, have sturdy, shock absorbing rubber feet, and the whole build has a reassuring solid feel about it. Highly recommend.
