Majestic piece with rare minifigs
This is a pretty simple and straightforward build. Just needed a few more seconds to differentiate the tile illustrations on the instruction booklet as light grey seems similar to dark grey. Same goes for dark grey and black illustrations. Tile bags are numbered and in sequence which allows builders to find tiles easily. Tip: use a few plastic bowls to store the tiles, within each number bag there exists a few smaller bags, so the plastic bowls really come in handy to store and sort your tiles. Thankfully, there wasn't any missing parts in the box that I received. But don't be surprised if Lego has given additional parts in your box. I don't know what are darth vader and obi-wan kenobi doing in this box but they are a nice addition to my collection of minifigs. The final product makes for a majestic and spectacular display article in the bedroom or living room. Visitors will always have something nice to say about it. P.S. The price actually went down to $111.99. So just be patient, set your camel e-mail alerts and buy when the time is ripe.

Great detailed build for the price
Got this Millenium Falcon to surprise my husband for his birthday. This is the licensed version of Legos and you can expect top quality of each piece. This entry level model is fantastic for someone that wants enough details in the build without spending big money for a larger professional version. Comes with Luke, Darth Vader, Princess, and Chubakka each with their own weapons. All the guns, and flaps on the spaceship can move on a hinge. The top part of the ship completely opens up so you have full access to play on the inside of the ship! Highly recommend as a great gift!

Interior makes this set a home run
As a collector of the new line of Star Wars legos, I have to say that this is clearly the centerpiece of my collection along with the 9493 X-Wing (both are not from this year's release but I group them in the new line). So far I have built the 75054 AT-AT, 75055 Imperial Star Destroyer, 75050 B-Wing, 75049 Snowspeeder and some smaller sets but this takes the cake in terms of fun and details. Build: It was pretty straightforward, with a lot of technic pieces forming the bottom frame and then repetitive building for the top covers. I usually build sets pretty quickly (AT-AT took 2 hours) but I went a little slower on this one, taking about 3 hours to finish it all. There are painted panels for computers but also stickers for some of the pieces on the outside, and while I'm not a huge fan of decals they look decent enough on the finished product. Playbility: This is a lot more fun to play with than sets of similar price range like the AT-AT and the Star Destroyer. The top panels fold out nicely to reveal the interior and aren't too loose to flop if you play with it upside down. The main body features: 1) 2 beds, 2) the training remote Luke uses in A New Hope; 3) sitting area with the board game; 4) a center computer console; 5) stowaway compartment; 6) a lowering walkway (?); and 7) the top/bottom quad cannons with seats for gunners that slides out the top. The cockpit can fit both Han and Chewie (with Chewie sitting slightly behind Han). The landing gear won't fold in or slide up but this will probably be on a surface most of the time, and you can take them off if you really want to. You can easily fit all of the minifigures that came with the set plus more to recreate scenes from episode 4, or make up your own scenes. While the AT-AT just has an empty space to fit Snowtroopers and the Star Destroyer has a few panels and standing space, this set allows your figures to be in the context of the movie and to actually be interacting with the ship itself. Minifigures: Of course it comes with Luke, Leia, Obi-Wan, Han, Chewie, and Darth Vader. As with the other reviewers, I would've liked to see R2 and C-3PO included given the hefty price tag, but they can be purchased individually or via Droid Escape set. The details on the figures are great and have the same level of accuracy as the newest figures from this year. Love this set, you will not regret it if you are an adult collector that doesn't mind spending in the $50~$200 range for a fun kit.

Perfect gift for 35 yearold boy.
First of all i gave order from Turkey, as a Lego maniac across the ocean, including taxes and fast cargo options it is still %20 cheaper than the local price (in my case local means 250 km (155 miles) away). So the price is perfect for me. Cargo was fast enough. Building was so enjoyable accompanied by perfect instructions as allways and with no missing parts. I can easily recomend this kit to any Lego or StarWars fan, fun to build easy to follow instructions and lego perfection. Model looks sturdy enough and except the small cockpit, it has nearly every detail the movie Millenium falcon has.

Thank GOD I'm a Master Builder
This was far and away my 6 year old son's favorite Christmas present. In fact, he is playing with it right now as I type this review. Let me be the first to say, if you are not a master builder, be prepared to spend a lot of time putting this together. Since I in fact AM a master builder, it took about 2 1/2 hours (my 6 year old tapped out after about 25 minutes....quitter). This thing is big and heavy when you put it together. Not really a toy a 6 year old can carry around and "fly" through space. More like a sit on the ground and make believe you are on the planet Tatooine kind of toy. KEEP THE INSTRUCTIONS. Invariably your little one will step on it, drop it, or mistakenly let his 3 year old sister play with it and parts do fall off. NOTE: No Kragle was used in the construction of this set. EVERYTHING IS AWESOME! (singing it in your head now aren't you.)

Perfect gift for a 12-year old lego nut!
I gave this to my Lego nut nephew for Christmas. It was amazing how excited he was at it (given the sheer number of Star Wars lego sets he has). It was the first gift he played with. It took him about 4.5 hours to put together (again, he's been doing Lego's since he was four - so, he's pretty good at it.) Here's some key items that he likes: - It has lots of characters - which always helps for on-going playability - It has lots and lots of pieces - for some strange reason this is good - It's very detailed And, in my book, it's good because it's a relatively new release (introduced in later 2011) which means I had pretty good odds that he didn't have it already. BOTTOM LINE: A winner for any Star Wars or Lego nut.

Excellent for Lego Lover! Maybe not so much for playful child
As a repeat of the title the set was an excellent build for the lego lover but I would not label it as a child rough house toy. For the Lego Lover: The set is enormous!! The diameter is bigger than a foot! However with that size it does take up a lot of space. The set also comes with multiple figurines which was suprising. The set comes with two booklets and multiple labeled bags (WARNING: take heed and DO NOT open all the bags at once). The set takes multiple hours to complete (which I like) Some of the little details will suprise and you'll fascinating. Overall for the price and the size of the set and the time it takes to build it is well worth the money For the playful child: The set comes with many pieces and if you dont have the patience the instructions can be frustrating. The whole set is somewhat fragile and occasionally pieces do come off. However the designers have left room for kids to use their creativity when playing with the set. The landing gear are fixed and dont move which could possibly be a bummer. Overall the set is rather fragile for play and if you decide to take it apart and dont save the instructions the set will never get back together again.

4 Boys say it's the Best!
We bought this as a moving-in gift to ourselves when we moved to a new apartment. I envisioned that the 4 of us boys (ages 7, 8, 10 and 39) would take the weekend to put it together. We ended up working on it for less than 2 hours Friday night and the boys finished putting it together Saturday morning without me. I will stress that my only role was quality control. I did not actually assemble anything. The ten year old ended up doing most of the heavy lifting as far as putting together the pieces, and the 8-year old ended up managing the assembly line by sorting the needed pieces and putting them together and handing to the 10-yr-old for final production. There are lots of bags of pieces, but the manuals (there are two assembly manuals) take you step-by-step. There were some issues at the very beginning that I had to correct, but after that, they did it pretty much all themselves. Again, mostly the 10 and 8 year olds. It's held up for the last two weeks very well. It doesn't get played with EVERY day, but they like it a lot, and they take great pride in keeping it together. The pieces mostly stick together well, and we've only had a couple issues with pieces falling off, and the accidental dismemberment has been almost always attributed to the 7-year-old. I think it's pretty darn cool though, and I'm only disappointed that I never got in on the original version which was significantly larger. I can also admit that the Millennium Falcon is clearly a gateway-drug to other Legos. We've got our hearts set on the "LEGO Star Wars Super Star Destroyer". Where we'll put that... I have no idea.
