Hose Review: Don't be foolish.1 bad part and 1 bad place to get to does not equal 2 good times redoing it. GO OEM - Works good, just like hose oem I took off. Oil leakage from plastic gasket behind oil filter/lower radiator hose housing. Common leak on 5.4 Triton. Was some swelling on hose so I replaced it at same time. I am really reviewing the motorcraft hoses (top and bottom) that I am replacing, I have a 2006, 5.4 liter, f1-50, King Ranch trim. The hoses have lasted 12+ years and 241,000 mi. They have not failed nor do they show signs of oncoming failure. I figured they have served me well and why take a chance. Excellent quality and considering the good service given the little extra money (+ 25% compared to Gates brand or about $10 a hose ) for motorcraft hoses over aftermarket is well worth it.
