Repair Don't Replace
I was just about to buy, again, another pair of grandson's jeans with the adjustable waistband. When trying to change the button hole, the elastic got lose and went back into the waistband. So he had the adjustment on one side but not the other, which just didn't look right. I was about to toss out, when I found this button hole tape on line. It's perfect. Works great. Was able to replace the entire thing with little effort. Price is great and you get black and white. I would have spent way more on a new pair of jeans.

Exactly as described and worked well
Exactly as described. Two rolls of elastic tape with "button holes." I used the tape to adjust the waistline on kids pants to keep them from falling down. (yes, I know that is a fashion statement, but not for little kids). The tape is easy to use. I did check my buttons first to be sure they were the correct size for the holes.,

Very Useful
I have been altering the waist of a lot of my clothes and this has worked wonderfully to cinch things in. Pants that used to gape at the waist now fit snugly after sewing a little on the back. I have been in the process of going through all my clothes and deciding what to keep and what to donate. Sewing in this elastic has altered many of my clothes considerably enough that I will not be passing over them in the future when picking out what to wear, meaning I do not have to get rid of them!
