Hi is there any metal case that I can use for this hat?

Try HifiBerry homepage, i remember, i've seen some cases customized for their products... i work on a simple wood case for my pi with this board integrated, because its small size you could it, another thing is that it uses the GPIO port, i needed to change the coole for a usb cooler...

Will it work with volumio?

It works well with Rasbian and Sigmatcp service...

Does digital input suppor 6 or 8 channels?

2.0. Channels PCM from what I can tell. Support is good on the hifiberry site so you can ask them and get an answer in about 24 hours

If they are regular analog rca outputs why aren't they color coded as usual? or are these not standard rca outputs?

My board has standard color-coded terminals.
