Will this work for calves? My calves are tight from running and training?

Yes, Armaid can be used on the calves. There are two approaches: 1)  If the the calf size is small enough to get the leg inside of Armaid and still have ability to grasp the handles of both Armaid arms with the free hand, the Armaid can be used in the standard manner; or 2) If the calf is too large to insert between both Armaid arms, push the white pin ("cam") out of the Armaid adjustment slots (where the two arms connect) and free up the attachment arm so you can use it as a two handed roller.   With either method you can still perform the 'trigger point therapy' technique taught on the instructional DVD.

Could this be used on my foot/heel?

Question 3

How tight does the top need to be gripped to hold together? Gripping is painful for me so I don't know if the roleo is better for me right now.

Hello Michel - Thanks for your question! You should not need to grip the two arms together too tightly in order to effectively apply the trigger point therapy. If gripping things at all is painful for you, consider using the rubber band that comes with the Armaid to hold the handles in place, rather then your hand.
