Love these pens for making pattern marks on my fabric! I use them all the time! The marks disappear when heat is applied! After I am finished sewing I use a hairdryer to get rid of any marks left showing! You can use an iron but I find that a hairdryer gets into any places an iron can't! They work wonderfully! To me they are better than any other marking pens or pencils. Just one thing to tell you is with the white ink. It seems that it isn't marking very well but if you mark and give it a minute the white brightens as it dries. At first I kept going over the mark several times not knowing but soon figured it out! They also give you several refills! To refill them you unscrew it at the bottom by the nib of the pen.

I love these heat erase pens. They do exactly what they were designed to do. I am a quilted & these pens are perfect for marking fabric pieces when needed. There is, red, blue , black & white pens. You need to put the little tips on the pens once you insert the ink cartridge & they work very well. Price is great & I was buying expensive Frixion fabric pens. These little pens even write ( draw ) on batting. Cannot do that with Frixion. Cannot find One thing to complain about.

These pens are an amazing value for the money but they do dry out before I’m able to use them all. If you are lucky enough to make huge amounts of Quilts I’m sure you could get through these but unfortunately I’m not able to make that many quilts. The price is so cheap though it’s still a great deal for the money. If you share with friends you will always come back to buy these as they are great to use. It’s also a lot of fun to share with kids and write mystery notes... After writing the note use an heat source to remove the ink and when the person receiving the letter gets their note they can put it in a cold source (we use the freezer) and the ink appears back on the paper...Some quilters don’t use these for this reason... Customer service is great as with this order my package had a hole in it so Some of the pens were lost during delivery. They sent out a new order without any problems and all of this was within an short period of time. Thanks !!

I have not yet tried the white pen, which some say is problematic. The other pens work well. They work just like any other pen. The ink did not bleed out so the lines were thin enough for tracing handwriting but dark enough to see well. The trick with fabric is getting it tight enough to write a straight line. But that is no fault of any pen. The ink came out easily with an iron even where it was dark. I removed the marking a few weeks after making it. I did not try laundering as it was a gift of an embroidered tea towel and I didn’t have time, so I cannot attest if there are any after effect.

I've gotten these before and they work great. But this time, the second bag full are not right. The red one is how they should look used. The blue and black ones all looked like this

These are absolutely wonderful. It took me a minute to figure out how to insert the ink cartridges the first time, but then it was very simple and I've replaced them many times without a hitch. I love that I don't have to keep buying new pens like most water soluble ones that don't last long and make you toss a whole expensive pen and use so much plastic. They write easily and between the four colors, show up on pretty much every color I've needed. They disappear like a charm with an iron. I tested them for whether the marks would come back in the cold by writing on a piece of quilting cotton, ironing away, and leaving it in the freezer for a few hours. I got a cold but completely unmarked piece of fabric at the end.

I needed the white pens to work. Yes. I read the reviews that said they didn't work well but other people said they were just tricky, and you had to be patient. And people posted pictures of them working, so I took a leap. You all either lucked out or were misleading. Even when I tried my whites on leather, after waiting for a couple of minutes I could only see the faintest of a line that wasn't complete. When I order something, I base my review on the worst aspect of the item which in this case is that 1/4 of it did not work, so that's a one. The quality of the other pens is not amazing, either. The ink is not free flowing. It's clumpy as you can see in the picture and to get a good dark line you must go back-and-forth a couple of times, which makes tracing patterns exceedingly difficult. I would send them back if I had time, but I already waited as long as I could for this item and I am going to have to make do with the colored pens.

Love the pencils. Traces well on fabric and comes off easy when ironing. Great value

Absolutely brilliant they do what they are supposed to do and I use a hairdryer on hot to erase the pen marks only down side is I use white the most and would like seller to consider buying refills in just one colour I'd recommend these pens to anyone the lines are accurate too

Brilliant. Each colour came with many filled inserts. I was a bit cautious but the colours are bright and the colour disappears quickly with an iron. Love them.

Bolígrafos muy útil al marcar en la tela, no deja ningún rastro al borrar con a plancha, la tinta azul, roja y negra super bien. La tinta blanca excelente solo en tela de color negro, pero hay que esperar unos segundos a que se visualice. Calidad y precio muy bien....si lo recomiendo. Nota: si no se está usando, el bolígrafo debe tener su tapa puesta, porque la tinta se puede secar.
