The boots seem very well made and should be warm and cosy. Unfortunately despite taking a 12, these were just too tight at the toe end.

I use these to walk the dogs, waterproof so far. Very warm, good price. Well made, could do with a bit more ankle support, I've been on some very long walks in them and they are super comfy. They are not hiking boots but do the job pretty well.

Good boots but the sizes are small. I ordered my usual size 9 and had to return them for a 10, as they were too tight. The 10's are ok, but I could even have gone for 11's.

While providing Welly style waterproofing and boot level comfort, this only lasts about a fortnight. The soles are hollow and the walls are not very thin and develop sizable holes, letting not only water but mud in as well. This is from only walking the dog round a field twice a day, so not extranuous cercumstances or long distance traveled in them. My recommendation. Avoid

Yes because the cold is so different in somewhere so dry like Canada, perhaps the cold is easier to deal with, but even still, these kept my feet VERY warm and had a nice fleecy interior to them. After reading some comments on here before buying them, I decided to get some cheap gel insoles which I thoroughly recommend doing as the insoles, although having a fluffy bottom, don't really support the feet very well. Unless you are familiar with wearing big snow boots, then you will find these quite clunky as I did, but they are big because they are well insulated... Having spent just under 3 weeks wearing these every single day, walking in deep powder snow, on both hard sidewalk surfaces as well as on country routes and hill walking, I can say that my feet did not hurt one bit! Given the price of the expensive alternatives like Sorrells, and only needing these for 3 weeks, they held up extremely well and kept my feet both warm and dry - which for the price makes them an absolute steal! If you need some good boots for a one off cold holiday, then I don't think you can do better.... MY wife however bought the ladies version of these and they leaked as she had a zip up the side which let water seep through. These however do not have the zip and were perfectly water tight. Talking about water tight, when you bring these boots indoors and all the lovely dry powdered snow, melts in the nice warm house, none of the moisture gets into the boot at all, which was great. The final benefit of these are, they arrive in a nice zip lock plastic bag, so when I packed them on my way home from Canada, I repurposed the bag which kept all the rest of my clothes nice and clean. NEGATIVE: One thing I would say though, is that these offer ZERO ankle support, so if you are planning on doing a lot of uneven surface walking - just don't, you could potentially turn your ankle quite easily, but for solid surface walking or walking in soft snow, they are fine!
