Pacsafe Vibe 150 2.5 Liter Anti Theft Sling Pack, Black

I took this sling pack on my trip to Europe and loved it. It has the perfect amount of space for my wallet, phone, passport, and a few other essentials without feeling bulky. The anti-theft security features gave me extra peace of mind, especially in crowded tourist areas. It’s also comfortable to wear and looks stylish. Great travel bag and definitely worth it!

I saw the picture of the listing and I thought that it was the same old version as the one that I have (the one with a grid pattern). But what arrived is a newer version of the bag. I have the 1st version of this and it has been my daily use bag for 5 years. I fell in love with the bag when I saw it at our local mall. It ticked all my checkboxes for a small personal bag. [The points below are FEATURES of both the old and new version of the bag that I liked.] ✔️ A simple style without a loud branding (I hate bags that scream the branding at your face). ✔️ Small lightweight form that is able to fit various items. (It is capable of fitting a phone, a card wallet, a coin purse, a passport, a pen, and car keys all at the same time. It can even fit an extra phone or 2). ✔️ Premium and durable make expected for its price (My 1st bag is still usable after 5 years of daily usage, it has also survived countless trips). -BONUS Has a RFID blocking pocket on the inside. -BONUS Zippers that can be fastened securely ( It also has a small hole able to fit small combination locks for added security). -BONUS Has a removable strap that can be wrapped around anywhere you want to (This also has the small lock hole). -BONUS Can be a sling bag, or a waist bag depending on your mood. [The points below are the CHANGES between the old and new versions of the bag] It still is arguably the same design, but with 2 visual changes and 3 technical changes for the newer version. VISUAL CHANGES: -NEUTRAL Newer version has more branding outside and inside the bag. Thankfully branding is still not too loud. -SAD Newer version no longer has the grid pattern on the fabric, it now sports a smooth/ plain texture. TECHNICAL CHANGES: -SAD Newer version has a different main strap that is .5mm thinner than the old version, it now has a more nylon feeling to it. I liked the older version of the main strap more. -HAPPY Newer version main strap is now open-ended instead of a closed-loop. It can now accomodate a better fit when used as a waist bag. -HAPPY Newer version has a longer ring holder strap in the inner pocket of the main compartment.

This 2.5L sized bag is perfect and fits all the daily essentials like my wallet, phone, wet wipes, pen, flashlight/torch, etc., while providing security via the lockable zips and slash-proof rfid material. It is comfortable enough staying on your chest all day, though wish it was more an ambidextrous design so I could swap it from my right to left shoulder without having to worry about contents spilling out and having difficulty accessing the locks and zips (this bag is designed for left-handed people with its opening on the left, and it will take getting used to manipulating the locks) I would have given this 5-stars were it not for this.

Just started using this with my new Pacsafe wallet (for which I confused the review a little bit with this review, at least until I get around to correcting it--watching news while I write reviews--I stumble and bite my tongue when I walk and chew gum). I'm really liking Pacsafe products, which are a premium product I've stepped up to from a good-but-less-vaunted maker of theft-proof baggage, etc. Pacsafe seems to offer very good quality materials, sewing, and zippers and fittings. Time will tell how they hold up, and if I find that I believe they've failed prematurely, I'll update this review. The locking mechanism for the zippers is slick and it's super cool how the two zipper pulls lock together once you figure it out (kinda tricky for me the first time, but what isn't). So far, I'm truly loving this little bag. For me, it's about the perfect size, as it'll carry my new (Pacsafe) wallet in the interior zippered pocked chained to the inner ring, my key chain shackled to the same ring, my cell phone in the outer zippered pocket, and my wristwatch and a multitool and flashlight or similar miscellaneous stuff in the main pocket, along with a pen in the handy pen slot. I'm nearly totally content with this bag, and it's my new go-to bag for everyday use--I habitually wear either running shorts or fashionable (well, maybe not) sweatpants with either no pockets or crap pockets, so I'm always desperately seeking a murse. It's not quite perfect though, as the outer pocket could be another 1/4" taller for my cellphone, the inner zippered pocket could be 1/4" taller for my Pacsafe wallet (which it should've been intentionally sized to accept), and the center pocket could be a bit wider to take a 20 oz. pop bottle. But then it'd be at least a 3.0 liter bag, so maybe it's best the way it is, which does manage everything other than the 20 ouncer. (While we're at it, Ford, get my perfect little Transit Connect van back into our country where it belongs, work on the interior paneling until it's one little measly inch wider inside, and make a stretch-stretch US version one more gracious foot longer behind the front seats so that a short stack of normal, ordinary, everyday 4 X 8 plywood sheet fits inside nice and flat with the hatch closed. Come on guys. You can do it. I know you can. It'd be the absolutely perfect city vehicle, as long as you don't make it electric.)

My husband brought this on a three week trip to Europe. He loves planning travel; and he was gallant enough to hold on to all of our passports, tickets, funds, phones, etc in this thing because I didn't have pockets in a lot of my nicer clothing (I know, I know, I'm working on it). Nobody tried to steal it once and we wandered around large metropolitan cities a ton so either it was a great visual deterrent or my husband was (he is a big guy). But it was convenient and he liked it; so I am happy with it too; even if it was a little cumbersome to get into because of all the safety features.

Now that I’ve been wanting it for a few days, I really like it. Could use very secure. Not too bulky. Lots of storage.

Good quality, poor design. The lower strap needs to be at an angle. It makes no sense to have omni directional sling and the strap to look like waist pack. Very uncomfortable...

The product was delivered as expected. The quality exceeded my expectation and definitely recommend to others. I bought a similar product from a website and I took it to a trip in the Philippines last December before buying the Pacsafe. The product that I bought filled my need but the Pacsafe is nicer and better made. I guess I was lucky that pick pocket never existed in the area I was at but I know the Pacsafe will be better suited if needed. I highly recommend getting this. The price is doubled but worth every penny.

Inzwischen habe ich mein gesamtes Reise-Equipment auf Pacsafe umgestellt. Auch die Vibe 150 kommt mit den üblichen Sicherheitsfeatures. Die ideale Tasche für Pass und Geldbörse, wenn es ins Getümmel geht und man nicht einen fetten Rucksack mitschleppen möchte. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen - die Tasche ist asymmetrisch geschnitten, sodass sie auf dem Rücken getragen immer auf der linken Schulter hängt, und vorne getragen auf der rechten Schulter. Wenn man etwas Gewicht geladen hat (Getränkeflasche), nervt das. Na klar, kann man die Schultern auch wechseln, aber dann hängt die Tasche immer irgendwie falsch. Aber die verschließbaren Zipper und die Möglichkeit, die Tasche irgendwo festzubinden, finde ich wie bei allen Pacsafe-Taschen extrem nützlich.
