Nostalgic Warehouse Ball-Tip Residential Door Hinge with Radius Corner

Made an old looking door for a pantry, the hinges the HD looked like a 1980 house, not a 1890 house. Found these hinges painted them black, and they look like all the rest of the hinges from 1890. Just had one of my kids friends tell me the door was original to the house, had to explain it's a new door. good quality, very smooth. The balls are removable from the top and bottom of the pin, make removal of the door easier. The bin is not very thick, under 1/4 inch, but I believe they will hold up.

I recently installed these hinges on the original doors in my renovated Victorian home, where I aimed to preserve the original character. They work well and fit nicely with the overall aesthetic. nice fresh look for an old house

These are great, easy to install, and they have held up on the closets I have put them on. Pretty heavy duty, they feel nice.

This is heavy gauge, high quality brass at a very reasonable price. It fits the standard pocket from the hinge that was there without modification. I was redoing some doors and trim, and realized I wanted some real, polished brass. I was hesitant because it was so reasonably priced, but I got them and they’re exactly what I was looking for. You can see the thickness of the brass in my pic, and this is after a few months installed, so it has stayed nice and shiny.

Look good, but need to put lock tight or something on the balls, mine keep falling off

These hinges replaced the original builders hardware in our old bungalow. It’s not a perfect match but the styling is close enough. The metal is a little thinner than the original hardware, but it should not effect the performance of the hinge. The included screws were not long enough to secure the hardware in our old doors, I replaced the screws with a set about 1/2” longer. Good purchase so far.

I have been searching for quite some time for new door hardware and wanted hinges with ball finials to match the solid brass knobs I am purchasing. The only hinges I could find with replaceable finials were solid brass and more expensive than I wanted to budget at the moment. I settled on these, thinking the pins were not removable, but to my surprise, the balls unthread!! I also made one more compromise purchasing the oil rubbed bronze, while wanting matte black. These are close enough in color and I can barely perceive a difference while comparing to my other matte black hardware. I will be replacing every hinge in my house with these.

Really nice product. I was expecting 1 pare of hinges not one hinge. Interior door hinges are always sold in pares as it takes two hinges to hang a door.

I ordered the same product twice. Both came differently package inside the box. Both had scratches. My guess is that these are returned products that were sold to me. They look nothing like in the picture. Big gap between the hinges and shiny finish. Overall, they look a little less cheap than your average hinge.

Great for replacing vintage style hinges. I must point out vintage hinges are thicker than these so I found it necessary to use shims. I purchased the shims from amazon
