Bare Reality: 100 Women, Their Breasts, Their Stories

I love this book, it worked wonders for my self confidence! It’s also really interesting to read all these different stories about how women look at their own bodies and the sort of things they associate with them.

I find this booknreally interesting and catching as it contains the stories of women and their everyday fights - just like everyone else has to face with.

I ordered this book because I came across an article about it and having long been curious about how I and others view my own breasts, I decided to see what 100 other women expressed about theirs. The stories were brave, bold and inspiring. The ‘No Less a Woman’ section towards the end was so informative and inspiring. What I did take issue with was that quite a few of the women with larger breasts say things about small breasts as if they’re such an undesirable thing to have and I don’t think such comments belonged in a book like this. The creator should have realised this could be potentially hurtful to readers with smaller breasts so I don’t know why they were included. A part of me read this hoping to see breasts that resembled my own but out of 100, none of them did. There were flat chested, largeish and large but basically none that were just smallish to mid sized. This is a size often omitted from pictures in the media and elsewhere.

I do not read these types of books, SF, Horror, Computer science, Cycle Maintenance, that is my type of thing. When I saw this, I was intrigued. Would it be a discussion or a titillation book? Thankfully it is the former and not the latter. I am in the non-breastfed demographic so that could explain my fascination with all things female (chests) or perhaps I just like what I do not have. I have a partner of sorts and she cannot work out what my love of her chest is all about. The book itself is a gorgeous set of stories about women and their most treasured (by me) item. Their soul. They talk about their boobs but really, they are just an extension of these wonderful, warm and funny individuals. There is a call girl in there and she is lovely. She knows what us men are like but does not think that it makes us any less human. Laura has not shied away from anyone. She also leaves the best to last. We meet, young, old, deformed, trans and without a doubt 100 of the most beautiful women I have read about. I could wax lyrical about how I must like this book, but I will conclude by saying that this book is not just for women. Men can also read it and find out about their partners and how they feel about themselves. Of the 100 only 2 of them fit into what I think is a perfect chest. Strangely it also fits into the only two women that I have loved. Odd but true.

Oh yea, a whole book about tits!

I purchased this book for my GF to read more about other women's breasts and what the book has to say about them. She got very interested and opened up the conversation about it with her and my friends and So now she knows which of her GF's boyfriends and husband like about breast. Because of this book, many of her friends wanted to know what men think about types of breast. Plus, some of her friends like perky-type breasts rather than natural types. My women friends liked the I can tell their size of breast cup and that I complement them. I recommend this book for fun reading and great conversation for more mature people and good for teenagers to read as well to better understand their body.
