Super educative!
Perfect book for school project! My daughter had to do a “ wax museum “presentation at school about Anne Frank on 3rd grade.. I wasn’t sure what book to buy, we ended up picking this one due to the reviews and it was the best option for sure! It’s easy for kids to understand, it’s not boring and not too big, there are lots of illustrations and the right amount of info for a 3rd grader school project! Would buy it again

“In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart.”
This book does a really nice job of giving context for Anne Frank's diary, and life, helping readers to understand the world she lived (and dreamed) in, why she lived how she did, why she wrote her diary, how it came to be published, and perhaps most impressively it helps us understand how the very personal words of one teenager make such horrible events something we can find a way to (at least to some degree) grasp.

Bought this book for a highly intelligent and inquisitive 2nd grader reader.
I bought this book for a highly intelligent and advanced 2nd grader reader I support. She recently came to our designated reading time with a series of questions about Anne Frank based on a brief story she read. I ultimately hope and think this book will help her better understand Anne Frank.

A must read for all ages
I’ve been buying these books for my son and I love every single one. Most of the books on the series is less than 100 pages so it makes for a quick and easy read. I read a few chapters to him at bedtime and it’s something we both look forward to. Especially me for the cuddle time with my son as I know he won’t always want me to read to him. The story of Anne Frank is unbelievable. To try and picture yourself living in those horrible and horrific times especially as a parent is heartbreaking. There were pages I couldn’t read without crying. The story is tastefully written as not to scare young readers but at the same time giving them the startling truth about evil in the world. Since reading this book I am going to buy the whole story of Anne Frank.

I love the story of Anne Frank and here is a volume that I can give to others to help them get familiar with the story. It is so helpful in the anti-semitism that is prolific at the moment and this is a story which can help people involved.
