Tried other methods for hanging things. Didn't want to drill holes in the alumawood. The Alumahangers are the perfect solution. Easy to install, permanent solution for those items you don't plan on moving. Yet, gives the flexibility of being able to move things easily. Helped solve the problem of how to hang solar lights from my aluminum patio cover. I did end up getting the clear tubing from Home Depot to make them thicker. But they are nice and long, giving some security that stuff will not blow down in a wind.

We have some large, heavy chimes (the longest pipe is 3 feet long) and we had been using 3 loops of para cord to secure them to our patio cover. The problem (besides eventual degradation of the cord) was I couldn't take them down on bad wind days and had to resort to crazy wrapping jobs to keep them from bashing around. Now I can just lift them off the hook.I am really pleased with these for my solid covered patio. The hook ones work on the tails and on the other patio that has open rails. With the 6 pack I have enough hooks to add some bird feeders to the patio too.

I love these!! Perfect for my alumawood patio. My only complaint is that these hangers slowly come out with the wind. They should think of making some type of silicone stopper or band that would add some resistance so the hangers stay in place. Overall a great buy.

When we got a patio cover, I went looking for ways to hang curtains or a movie screen up without drilling into the cover. I saw these online, and they were out of stock. I looked at other options, but these seemed still the best, non-permanent option. I am glad I waited. They are strong, heavy (I don't want lightweight), but not too heavy for the cover. They are perfect. There are quite a few online videos of their use too. Check the company's website. Their shopping cart leads you right back to Amazon.

This was one is the biggest waste of money purchases I have ever made.Anything as strong as a moderate breeze, let alone real wind will work these out of their slots on your Alumiwood Patio cover. After a 4 or 5 falls, I spent extra money on a spray rubberizer in hopes that would add enough traction to keep these from slipping. It was a slight help, but not nearly enough.It's been less than a month and due to the number of times the product has failed, two of my bamboo blinds are irreparably damaged. So this product not only wasted my money off itself, but also more money on the rubberizer and two new drapes.

I used these on my Duralum patio cover. I did have to buy the vinyl tubing (1/4" inside, 3/8" outside) to make them fit in the slats snugly. I picked up the tubing at Home Depot. I also used a little WD40 to get the tubing to slide onto the hanger easier.Now that they've been modified for my Duralum product they fit snugly and well. If anything goes wrong, I will update.
